So I was questing on my monk level 87 and got DC'd then perma ban. There is one other account on the bnet that was banned previously. The second account that was banned got banned within 1 hour of using gatherbuddy in duskwood my herbalism was like 75 rofl. These two accounts are on seperate battle.net and names. 1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? There must be another ban wave going on or something.
just created two ticket appeals and since both these accounts are first offenses now we play the waiting game.. edit- looking at HB looks both logs seem to show this same information which is interesting. I dont know what it means but i bolded the parts that made me wonder.
I must assume both accs were running from same machine/ no vmware? And you had no other bots running on it at the same time? Have you experienced wipeout or similar in the near past? So maybe your IP/PC is monitored etc?
I got my main account banned like 2 weeks ago so I started fresh with two different accounts. They were running same IP same machine and 7 hours later I still have received no email on either account as to why they are banned .
Update: Been over 8 hours later still no email as to why it happened but finally got it after asking live chat to help me. I appealed and they reviewed it and the permanent ban stays even on a first infraction account which is crazy. Now they are stating its been reviewed twice and any tickets i create they are closing them this is bullshit that a company like this can do this I just bought MOP on that account yesterday now im going to dispute paypal for my money back.

After reading your post, I went back to check a few of my recent logs... I noticed a similar line to yours in one of them. I'm not banned currently so I'm not sure what that line is actually saying. Honestly the few 2-3 accounts was me being a new botter using GB2 like 6-8 hours a day and during the night back when it was safer to do that accounts lasted a while. Its been within the last year it feels they *****ed down on botting more because I've stopped using GB2 for longer than 2 hours at a time per day.
Salty, your main was banned for Abuse of Economy, wasnt it? If so, I must safely assume, your IP/PC got blacklisted and any account you create there will be hit soon, with or without using 3rd party software! If you wanna try, get a fresh account (Or trial) with handlevel questing to lvl 20, botgrinding or even kicks questing and see if/when it gets hit! P.S.: Btw, they do NOT perform mindless scan on your RAM, dont worry about it! The answer is more simple than expected, as usual :/
no all the email finally said was use of 3rd party programs nothing about abuse of economy. I've only had one of those type of bans before which was actually the only ban i ever got overturned lol
If we could get a comment on the message in Salty's log as well as the one I posted that would be great! Both logs mention are memory read process. Is that a scan from Blizzard or is it something only related to HB? Both of our messages are posted already in this thread.
