I've never heard of main accounts getting banned purely for association to closed botting accounts. In fact i've had numerous bots closed *on the same battlenet*, again and again and the main account there was never touched. here's what "Terms of Use Violation - Association to Exploitative Accounts" really means: - You sold gold to chinafarmers or -you merged some shitty SoR accounts into your battlenet So... where did you get those 2 bot accounts from?
They were two accounts I RaF'd together on completely separate emails. They were not connected to my mains email at all. Three separate emails for the three accounts. A fourth account which had a small amount of botting (just a paladin leveled to 70) was attached to my banned mains Bnet account is untouched and still active. I have never used SoR, just RaF.
I think the big issue with the main account closure is the send on mail. I don't see where it say he sent the items cod. Also it seems to me that the main account was the major account for selling the items. That means there were prolly ass-tons of items sold in the AH or in trade. This makes you a target for people who know you & don't like you or are your competition. It's easy to add you to a friends list & just constantly report you just to get you banned. I have a friend who did this. His main account was the targeted by Blizz. The botting accounts were closed also, but only after they traced things backwards. So now I routinely run multiple banker toons, deleted & replace them regularly. That way you take players out of the mix.
Bending over and asking them to fuck u in the ass by telling them this; "You can remove the items and give me a temporary suspension, but if the closure isn't overturned you'll have lost a valuable and committed customer. I have bought collectors editions and subscribed to the annual pass and achieved a lot on this account - this is not something I would intentionally jeopardise." First, a multi BILLION fucking company doesnt give a bloody shit if they lose 1 customer. Second, you basically just told them "okay, I botted, please rollback" - Are you fucking retarded, homie? It's like you kill someone, get sentenced to life in prison but then you say "Hey dude, I didnt kill him.. But since he's dead, you can give me 2 years in prison and I'd gladly open my asshole for everybody in the shower". Basically that retarded appeal really made shit worse for you, the one thing to do when you get banned is to call blizzard and use some real social skills. And btw, they didnt fucking review your account a second time mate, they just ignored you. Peace
just start the "Account Recovery" procedure sometimes they will just overturn it. I once botted my rogue about 70 hours straight picking lockboxes for three different people's Ravenholdt rep. It was auto banned due to being online for so long. I just started an account recovery procedure, and within 10 hours it was unbanned and I've been botting on it 20 hours / day since (with a few week break before MoP)
Thanks for the input peeps! I just did an account recovery for the 3 acc clicking on the button "I think I've been hacked". Do I just play he waiting game now? I tried to ring like people have said, but the only number appearing was the billing department and when i rang that he said that I can't actually call the account admin department, they can only be contacted via support tickets. I live in Australia if that means anything. Should I just wait for the recovery process?
Yeah you only get a few chances though when they suspect suspicious acitivity or trading gold in-game you have about 3 warnings and then when you open a ticket your account is reopened but after 3 you get permanetly banned AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET your account back
Rule of thumb from having just dealt with 3 accounts being banned: First try automated means of recovery "I've been hacked" then plead ignorance, but very nicely, and not immaturely (use no foul language). Think of it as if you were dealing with someone in society. If you start cursing him out they aren't going to help you, because they don't HAVE to. I put in roughly the same 3 tickets for 3 accounts which were not associated (expect for being linked because of buying RAF time, which is why they were caught, and then banned for long hours online) and one which mentioned possible hacks, got a "please send account recovery information" and one which mentioned no such thing got overturned to a 72 hour ban (luck of the GM imho) and the third got a "we reviewed [a.k.a. we didn't but we don't care] and our decision stands]. It should be noted on the third one which has no chance of recovery, I responded after the initial response from them "confirming their findings" with a not-so nice response, then a super-not-so-nice response which in turn lead to another "we confirm our findings and we won't respond anymore". Point is, I should have called customer service or submitted another very nice response asking that they please reconsider what they have found because I don't believe it to be true, etc. But the facts are these, those accounts were SoRs, they had been played upwards of 14 hours a day since SoR activation, and they had only done 1 thing since they got 85 (run dungeons), so if they did truly investigate the third account, I have no wonder why it was kept banned. Any logical person could see it was a bot! lol, but on another note, it shows they didn't review the last 2 because they wouldn't have worked with me under those conditions I'd think. Either way, time to change the name on my ID and send it in, and I just got the 72 hour suspended one back last night. Not sure how to proceed with that, guess ill be doing short days in dungeons/gathering and maybe archeology or questing for looks.
