Ok so someone in a thread I was readin the other day brought up Ultima Online and it got me thinking about all the good times I had with that game playing, buying/selling, selling gold etc. Just figured I'd ask if there are any fellow ex-Ultima Online players gold sellers around and if so what server you were on! I was located on Chesapeake!

I wasn't a gold seller, but I played on Atlantic. I was in LNR guild, I still have a 145 month old account that I looked into about a month ago when they opened free play for two weeks. I miss the customizable housing that I have not seen in any other game. people still sell castles for IRL cash about 300-500 pounds.

Thats crazy! I know gold is down to like $0.89 per mil on websites now. Glad to see Castles are keeping their value. I also miss "True Rares" and Event Items. I used to be a collecter/dealer of those items on Chesapeake and would transfer servers all the time to pick some up. My account was 80 months old when I stopped playing. The amount of customization(house, armor, etc.) is still unmatched in any other game I have played. I think a new Ultima Release maintaining its depth of customization could do really well, don't think it will happen though.

I was never involved in RMT there, but I was on Europa (I think) played with a few guys in my highschool class. I used UOauctions.com (again I think, so long ago) to sell goods for gold outside of the game.

Loved it, it fuelled my current MMO addiction.

I remember UOauctions.com. There were only 2 servers that ever had a significant amount of volume and that was Europa and Great Lakes. The most I ever saw on Chesapeake was 6 item lol.

Same. My license plate still says UO GOLD til this day lol. It did pay for my 1st car and most of my college so I figured it deserved the honored in some way.

I played on Atlantic as well haha.

I was never a goldseller though. After Lord Blackthorns revenge I ended up playing more on the player run servers than live servers. Once AoS came out I canceled my account and ended up scripting for two different low population PvP servers. Good times though, I miss old school UO. I remember when I jumped to wow from UO I was soo upset I couldnt loot someone after I killed them.
