Hi! I just purchased a 3-day trial of Buddywing yesterday. As with most other users, I was highly disappointed when I saw the bot itself, but I did not let that discourage me from using it. I have gone through the guides (all of which are outdated by a couple of years) that explain how to set up the bot for the first time, and none of them are working. I am trying to use this bot simply for the combat routine (I am controlling movement and what not), but the closest I have gotten the bot to working is where it casts 1-2 spells at most and just stops, staring into space. I have re-installed Buddywing multiple times and have tried every technique and guide I could find on these forums, with no luck. I have tried the original CRs as well as the Pure/Unpure CRs, but nothing is working. Can someone please instruct me how to make the most of Buddywing or point me to an updated guide? I'm kinda glad I got the trial first.
You honestly do not need a guide to get BW working. It is as simple as DL the latest version and install in a directory of your choice. That is really all that there is to it. Make sure to run Buddywing.exe in administrator mode. Obviously you will have SWTOR in windowed and in administrator mode. After BW loaded, click on the "load profile" button, and try a plain and simple combat bot. When using this file I am attaching here, you need to do the movement and buffs etc., All the bot will do is the rotations. It will not automatically attack anything or move. If you want to automate grinding and/or questing it will take a bit of reading through the profile section and you will quickly see how easy it is to write your own profile.
