Hey everyone. I'm considering coming back to HB after a 5 month break. I have read about the ban wave, guess I was lucky to dodge it this time, but I would try my luck going forward.

I've read a random post that said they disabled Arena usage and I'm not sure if I understood it correctly. Does this mean that we cannot use combat routines in arenas by any means? I've tried to do a thorough search for an announcement regarding this, but I couldn't find a single thing.

Can anyone shed some light? Is this true? And if so, why?

      Thanks in advance!

      Well, that sucks. . .

That's the only thing I used CR's for: arenas and battlegrounds.

      That really sucks.

I'm going through the official statement right now, reading some of the posts. Wonder if Bossland could do a "trusted botter" program or something, allowing users with common sense to bot in PvP environments. I was always careful when it came to interrupts and what not - I made sure to delay interrupt/cast times so I wouldn't seem like a bot.

I can't imagine going back to WoW if HB completely disables all forms of PvP usage.

Well, I have always been satisfied with Honorbuddy. It's a great program with a great community and staff. It's the first and only bot I've ever used for any game. I always hear horror stories about other programs out there - including bugs in the software, much less safe, small and inactive communities/staff, etc.

I wouldn't necessarily go as far as saying that Bossland has "failed customers." I just feel like they've taken too extreme of a step to attempt to cut back on player reports. The problem is that many users of Honorbuddy in PvP situations don't know how to use HB "safely." They use instant interrupts and casts, making it too obvious; AFK bots are rampant in battlegrounds, ruining the experience for legitimate players and non-AFK botters alike.

That's why I suggested some kind of process to allow experienced users to use HB in PvP. Hopefully they change their mind by the time the ban is up this November. Only time will tell.

LOL are you kidding me. Arena you could see a bot from a mile away. The users who just pressed "start" in Arena are the ones who you can spot out. Arena and BG's are number 1 for getting spotted.

I was thinking the same. In arenas, you are focused on a single person at a time and you're able to see every action they do; so it's more noticeable. Battlegrounds - you have multiple people that you can't focus on at the same time. Either way, I was careful in how I botted in either situation.

It's hard to tell for me. You sound like someone who cannot do arena and blames your losses against a bot. Good PvPers surpasses botters.

Maybe in your 1200 Bracket is hard to tell, rofl You can tell a bot in Arena straight up with instant CC instant interrupts. I dont know how you could miss that but I guess at 1200 bracket you are using a bot to vs another bot. But now Arena is awesome! so much fun less bs. Its just great, back too it thanks for removing it guys. Its good to see them Glad cheaters using CR to get Glad due to them sucking at their class.
