Video Converter

I got some .mkv files Dexter season 4 that I need to put onto a DVD they are in HD but I need to convert them. I goggled and there are a ton of different converters and such out there but I don't wanna try a bunch and see that they suck if someone already has. I don't care about how long it takes all I care about is not loosing quality.

I have total video converter but the output file didn't look that great I choose .mov , but maybe this was because I was doing other things on my computer like playing wow while i was converting.

Ciould try ConvertXToDVD.

 

DVD's aren't an HD format, so you're going to lose quality regardless.

Standard HD Resolutions are 1920x1080 or 1280x720.
Standard DVD Resolution is 720x480.

However, I have used DVD Flick to convert MKVs to DVD's before, and the quality was fairly decent.

 

ConvertXtoDVD is what I use when I need to make a DVD, you cannot just use any old video converter because it will need to make a simulated DVD file.
