I dont know if this is a Bug or if im just confused but: It feels like my Warrior/Tank in a 5 Man Dungeon Group is not rolling "Need" while below level 40. All the others (healers, dps seem to roll "need" correctly) I am starting about 2 5-Man groups a day and it gets difficult to push them through as my warriors seem to be rolling "greed" on everything. while they are below level 40. Settings are: Role: Auto Tank in Random Groups: False Group Loot Mode: Default Loot Mode: Always Mail BoE Items: False Maximum Vendor Item Quality: Rare Minimum Mail Item Quality: Common Tank is the group leader. This only seems to happen on def warrior any idea? On this screenshot for example my warrior is carrying a level 1 grey weapon and does a "greed" roll: View attachment 214399 This one my warrior is greeding on boots while it is wearing ilvl 22 grey boots: View attachment 214402 I dont think this is a dungeonbuddy issue. I included a full logfile from level 1 to level 35 - if you search for "rolling need" the first need roll of the warrior occurs somewhere around level 33.
well i kinda figured it out lol the last time i was playing WoW myself was like many years ago and warriors/paladins had no plate armor until level 20 or 40 (dont remember) and so those armor pieces didnt drop until a certain level. So the classic dungeons now still dont drop plate armor even though the characters are wearing plate armor now from level 1 and that is the main issue. So classic dungeons don't drop plate loot until level 20/40 (dont remember exactly) leading to the tank receiving no gear at all until plate starts dropping. so i guess it is more like a dungeonbuddy issue to make tanks roll on mail armor until they reach level 40ish. for the warriors not rolling on weapons - that might indeed be a HB issue.
HB should still prefer mail for plate-wearers under level 40 so that should not make a difference. I need a little more information to be able to figure out what's going on. If not too much trouble, can you try the beta release of Honorbuddy? It will produce AutoEquip logs in the Logs folder for your toon. Once you reproduce some more of these issues in the beta build I should be able to tell what's happening from the AutoEquip log.
I will do that for the next batch of toons i will start. For now i just helped myself with a plugin just rolling on all mail, shields and dps weapons.
