How do you guys get wealth by botting? Ive been botting library the past couple days about 10 hours a day and i have not got 1 exalted or and big ticket items. I am not flagged as i do get a regualr currency i have 200 iir and 25 iiq and am not getting great uniques.
Unfortunately all part of RNG. I run 5 accounts, sometimes one account gets 4-5 ex worth of stuff in a night, sometimes nothing for a few days.
My take on it is this: 1. You just get lucky. Through an expensive item drop, or a favorable crafting result, you manage to hit the jackpot by chance. 2. You trade your way into it. Buy low, sell high. Or, you managed to predict when nerfs are going to happen and bank off legacy items. Don't forget about the race rewards either, as you can use those to build up wealth. 3. You run "enough" bots to make #1 more likely or #2 more easy with more things to trade with. Other than that, this game is not designed in a way the average person will ever be able to accumulate serious wealth unless they invest a lot of time into it and work for it. Botting obviously carries significant risks if portions of your wealth get wiped out. I think if you dedicate yourself to building wealth, you can certainly do it, but it just depends on your real motivation and how much you want to invest (time, money, patience) to get where you want to be.
Are you running softcore or hardcore ? Personally softcore is not worth the power to run your computer... One of my dead bots i thought i would try out for a bit in softcore.. in 4 weeks i made about 140 exalts worth of currency and made a total of 17 dollas. LOL Ive made 700 bucks in invasion in 10 days.
Well my first secret is don't run ambush.. Zero money to make in ambush.. second is play hardcore by hand as well at least from Normal to Merc and kill the end boss, This will give you a understanding of Hardcore and the way the game it played this will help you build a good bot that will be able to facetank just about anything.. Dont every let your bot fight invasion bosses.. They will kill you.. Delicate a connection to your bot, So when your downloading stuff you don't cause your bot to lag out and die.. Spend currency on your bot as well, so you bot is strong.. It prob too me 2-3 Invasion toons that died to farm the required gear to make a toon that can facetank anything. so you need to build up your bots first then make money.... Farm zones that have no possibility of spawning a elite you cant facetank... Don't over bot or you account will get flagged and not more currecy
