So for my final project I have to create a video game review site, not that any of that reflects towards my question.

The beast part about this project is having a partner, so we've broke up the structure and layout and divided the project equally. I am very anal about my designs, and layout, and I want to give the best product that I can give.

So here's the question/s. I want to add something that'll display the "Game of the Week", so basically we will have a database that'll add the album cover of our choice for the "Game of the Week" and display it for 7 days, then it'll choose a new game from the database.

Secondly, if we wanted to add a banner that will showcase games, and upcoming releases, similar to the way wow does with it's content on their homepage, where it displays information; such as PrePatch release date, BlizzCon Ticket Sales, and ect.. Is this a script, or what?

The content is handmade...like every content.
game of the week too - the only way a script make sense is, if the decision of the games are made through by a voting, or rating or something else.
its useless to add pictures in a database and grab them via a script if it only you who choose the game(s) of the week.

Sorry about the late response Cloudy, but I've managed to figure something out from my professor. I will mostlikely use a SS/s with a database.
