Well boys and girls. I ran a little test using HB and another bot and guess what, my HB accounts that the time expired on just got the ban hammer this morning. Not that it really mattered as they were throw away test accounts to see which "bot" was safer.

My HB botted accounts are perma-banned, while my other accounts that used the other bot is perfectly fine.

So as I can see by the recent posts, HB is still detectable and will remain so resulting in bans anytime Blizz feels like kicking us in the nuts. Whereas the other one I am using, hasn't been banned, contrary to some posts saying that they got hit a week ago. So at this point, I will NOT be using HB anymore, and sadly went past the 7 day refund otherwise I'd be asking for my money back. But such is life, I'm not mad at Bossland or HB, I knew the risks and saw all the posts about banwaves before I bought it. I will however be sticking with the other guys as I have never had to worry about being banned using their product. Sadly, their support and plugins etc is really lacking compared to HB, but at this point, it seems to be a safer alternative to HB.

I just want to thanks Bossland and the HB team for being awesome with me when I had any questions etc. I hope that one day you guys manage to kick Blizz's arse and have a product that they can't ban. I will still be reading the forums and seeing how things go.

Happy botting guys, and screw Blizz lol.

So your test with a sample of 1/1 resulted in conclusive evidence? Impressive! *Sarcasm*

Seriously though, this most recent little ban trend hit a insignificant amount of botters from multiple bots, it's not evidence that HB specifically is detected and defenseless. In no way would I think Honorbuddy to be safe but I think you are overreacting and coming to false conclusions rather quickly. This kind of misinformation does harm to the community and you should really say your farewells without spreading false info.

As always, if you want to play wow then play wow, don't have a bot do it for you. If you want to earn gold on accounts you don't care about, then do it!

How are so many people getting banned?!
I've been botting like a retard for years on an account I dont wish to lose and have had no problems.

Actually I had 10 accounts in total using HB, so NO it was not just using 1 account. And no I wasn't going balls to the wall on them either. I was alternating the accounts avg 4-5 hours per account on diff bnets.

I agree whole-heartedly with this comment. A sample size of one, ten or even 100 proves absolutely nothing. People hate to be told this, but its the absolute truth. Nothing conclusive can be drawn from this.

I also agree with RhysG...I'm not sure what all these people are doing, but my one account that I use for HB was not banned in the banwave and has been going strong ever since...And anyone that reads my posts knows how I feel about all the "security measures" that people take.

Why is this a question? Why is this even a statement.

ANYTHING is detectable. NOTHING is safe. Why do you expect it to be? Seems to me like you are botting under some false sense of security, that something is in fact secure, it is NEVER secure.

unless you replicated the exact same behavior on both bots the experiment is invalid, even then if you replicated them on different servers it would still be invalid due to the possibility of being reported/investigated by a GM on only one of the servers.

basically your post proves nothing. the only time you can say HB is not safe is after a banwave. now they fixed the cause of the last banwave there is no reason to think we are any less safe than before

Your posts are so all over the place...

You put a thread in the ban section saying one account is banned, you post threads saying you have 3 HB sessions and want them split because your friends are using your key, you post saying you have 5 bots running at once, now you're claiming you had 10 HB sessions running and they all got banned...

You really should just stick with 1 story.

From what I see, blizzard seems to be banning accounts depending on the IP where the account was created. For example: I have a modem with 5 static IPs here. 3 of them had accounts banned on them and 2 are clean. Of the 3 IPs I created 4 accounts and botted with them. I made 2 other accounts on the other 2 IPs and I botted with them on the IPs who I suppose are flagged. My outcome: the 4 accounts who were created in the flagged IPs got banned within 48 hours and the 2 accounts who were made on the clean IPs but botted on the flagged IPs did not get a ban. So from what I can see with this, they check the IP upon the account creation and not while playing.

My 8 since 5/13 all pinched in pairs of 2. quit speculating and living in denial. It's easily detectable. Always has been, it only runs with the x86 client ffs. Blizzard has an insta list of every botter just like that.

Got away with it before because it didn't effect blizzard. After the hypocrisy of the token, it now does. Gg

I actually bought an account created by another individual in Australia. It was not created via my IP here in Florida, and I still got the banhammer yesterday as did my friend whom was using gladiatorsuite products. I'm getting ready to start using a VPN, but to me it seems that something is still detected. Maybe my IP is flagged and after a few days they check in on me and start timing interrupts, farming patterns, and auction stuff. So many variables. I do know that a bot I use in 64-bit mode on my main account has never had an issue. That same bot 32-bit users received a big banhammer a few weeks ago, but 64-bit still good to go. Since the majority of bots require 32-bit mode to work, eventually I wonder if it would be worth building something that is 64-bit compatible, but I'm sure this has been discussed and using the old 32-bit process is easier for the programmers.

The ignorance in this post is outstanding...

Can you provide a single shred of evidence that x86 has absolutely anything at all to with blizz detecting the bot? Can you provide a single shred of evidence that x64 has any benefit at all in keeping bots safe from a detection standpoint?

And you do realize that for every single token blizz sells, they make $5 MORE than they would have from a botter paying a subscription fee...Any theory that tokens are hurting blizz in some way can be directly thrown out the door. Tokens have been nothing but a blessing for blizz. If anything, blizz would want more botters out there making more gold since they're making 33% more per subscriptions for every token a botter buys. Anyone that doesn't understand that doesn't understand basic economics.

Not a single person here has claimed the bot isn't detectable...I, just like you, believe that the bot has been detectable since day 1. If you can show me a post where I've ever claimed anything other than this, I'd love to see it.

There's a huge difference between saying the bot isn't detectable and saying that a worthless experiment proved something definitively.

You seem to forget saying this at 12:36 today:

"Actually I had 10 accounts in total using HB, so NO it was not just using 1 account. And no I wasn't going balls to the wall on them either. I was alternating the accounts avg 4-5 hours per account on diff bnets."

Also, please show me some of these magical posts where I claim anything is just about me...

"Bliz can look at your CPUID and other parts of the machine fingerprint to know EXACTLY how many WoWclients are being run by the same machine. This is true whether you use VMs, different IPs, or whatever. This is NOT a flaw in Honorbuddy." -Direct quote from a Core Developer. All of your measures are worthless. Stop wasting your time and money. ryfto thats your signature, why would you tell us to stop wasting time and money, people who bot can do it with only 1 wow client or they can do it like me (with multiple pcs). Blizzard will see 1 wow client, I just dont get your argument xD

BTW: If you pm me asking for the name of the other bot that I use, you will get the same generic reply that I have been sending out to everybody that has pm'd me so far.

Out of respect for Bossland, and the HB team, I will NOT be telling you the name of the other bot that I use. That was not the purpose of this post. I find that Bossland and the HB team have an amazing product, however, it still has it's faults as far as detection goes. As I am sure the other bot will eventually get banned as well, it's only a matter of time.

So don't waste your time sending me a PM asking for the name of the other bot, because I will NOT provide it.

looks like quite a few other bots/tools had bans on 12th january. HB is still going fine though, so the people abandoning HB for other bots because they think other bots are somehow safer are only fooling themselves. blizzard is going after everyone!
