Alright peeps... What do you use Buddywing for? SO far i've tried it for 1-10 stuff and it breaks all the time for nearly every glass :-/ I spent ?25 on this thing.. what can I actually do with it?? btw, I bought a bot program so i could leave it to play for hours while I work... why should I babysit a bot? :S
I use it to do all the heavy lifting when leveling from about 15 to max level, and then to make money with my max level bots. The initial levels are pretty quick and easy; if your profiles are having that many issues, I'd recommend just leveling them the old fashioned way and use grinding and questing after you get your ship. And if you don't like babysitting, then stick to grind profiles, which are much lower maintenance. Good luck, -D
Thanks dude; do you have profiles that work from 15+ then? or do you just setup your own profile and let your char run around in circles killing mobs..?
It's best to write your own profiles. Since there are so few servers, we want to keep the grinding areas spread out. Find some place that works for you, then use Joe's or Walter's routine and you should have some luck. I liked the grinding profiles best because then I could still play the class story arcs myself. I leveled a Trooper from 30-55, a Smuggler from 12-55, a Sorc from 10-55, and some other characters from 10-35 using just grind profiles I created myself and Walter's/UnPure (Pure is for later levels, post-50).
You can use Mizzle's packs, they still work for the most part (some classes/companions are safer to afk-bot than others. Think tank/healer combos, dps/dps is very dangerous and you'll die a lot). Like I said, I create my own profiles in out-of-the-way areas. You want a spot where not a lot of players go, or if players go there, they don't come back. The best way to get reported is for the same player to see you in the same spot grinding 4 hours later.
The way i see it.. its a free game and the bot is worth it so I just grind on other profiles and snag the credits for my main. Mostly grinding in my opinion though.
I played/botted SWTOR when it first came out, and quit playing it a few months later.. Sold my account. Decided to give it another whirl a couple weeks ago. 1-15 botting is pure frustration and quite useless. Do yourself a favor and just level up to about 15 by yourself. I'm at about 24 now, i think.. Cant remember, but the routines are actually working now and it is grinding away.
