A few weeks ago I reported a pretty serious HB issue, where it would read a FlyTo code wrong. I failed to add logs and thats ok. I then replied with a proper log AND a screenshot illustrating the issue. You can have a look at it here http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...hb-failure-correctly-read-flyto-location.html So two weeks passed after supplying what they demanded, and I was yet to get a an actual reply. I said "Bum bump" x20 as I was frustrated. When I came back the next day (or later the same day) I found my bump post to be deleted, and no reply was left by the admin that deleted it. VERY frustrating. During this period my bots kept facing this bug from time time time. Not only me, but also my customers of the profile I'm selling. Frustrated as I was, I called them out for having worse support than McDonald's. I'm entitled to my own opinion, and freedom of speech doesn't not prohibit me to express my opinion. And come on... I've been around for a while, and HB IS known to have pretty lousy support. Nevertheless. I got a reply by CNG: http://i.imgur.com/v45dc7p.png Fair enough, he is also entitled to his own opinion, yet I felt that the comment was not properly apropriate in the thread since he did not actually even mention the problem at hand. I simply replied and said exactly what I meant about the case. This happened. http://i.imgur.com/oGF9ezF.png Now where does this leave us? I am a customer of this software. I've spent my own money buying this bot, and not just 1 session. Imagine if you had this support when contacting Apple: "I don't like your attitude so I refuse to help you. I will also not anyone else help you, or anyone else experiencing this issue" Pardon my french, but WHAT THE FUCK!? Fair enough, my attitude is terrible, but its not without reason. I'm reporting something that's kind of a major flaw in HB and the staff refuses to acknowledge it. What does this say about the HB company as a whole? Well that's up to you to decide... But for me, all hope is lost. Ill never report any more HB issues here. Its a waste of time. By the way! My issues WAS, and still IS, in fact a HB bug. HB would fly to some random location (a location that is NEVER mentioned in the profile, one time I ended up here. And oh whats this? http://i.imgur.com/17dKMNN.jpg Im not the only one having the same issue (I was inside all those players, I just took a few steppes away to take the screenshot)
after i closed the thread i asked the devs to double check and make sure the bug is fixed. if you would of been nice i would of told you that there should be a new build coming out soon that fixes not only a ton of honorbuddy bugs, but a lot of quest behavior issues as well (this is where your issue is). i clean EVERY post that gets made EVERY night, so im not sure why your thread didnt cross paths with anyone for 2 weeks but it wasn't intentional. as far as china jade while he has the administrative powers of a moderator he is in no way required to help anyone.
I never asked China Jade for help, and I don't even know why you keep referring too him. I'm assuming he was the one to remove my "bump" post? Either way its common to leave a little note saying why the post was removed. But this "rant" is not really to bash one the guy that removed the post. It's just a small piece of the puzzle. As an employee (?) of a pretty big company you cant expect everyone to lick your toe in order for them to receive a "normal" reply. I know I might came across as overly aggressive, but you simply cant run around closing relevant threads that you find annoying. As long as the thread contains important and relevant information it should never be closed unless the issue is actually resolved. I already know a new build is coming out soon (its official information right here on this forum) but how am I to know if this fix is included or not in this release?
yea, you really have no clue how we operate. like i said it was never intentional to miss your thread for such a long period of time. threads dont just get closed and deleted for no reason. now, what was the first thing i said? even though i closed it, i reported it to devs so they can make sure the issue is resolved. as for now to fix your issue at this time. the only thing i can recommend is changing your profile. now, ive have and are still only trying to help you. im am here EVERY night from 5pm to 2am EVERY day. so if you have a problem with not receiving support, its not from me.
Wozoki93, As to this post, I didn't have an answer for your problem at the time, so did not respond to it. But while reading through your problem, I saw the 'bumping' post that is CLEARLY against forum rules, so I took care of it (by deleting it) as we always do with any post that violates forum rules. No apologies, we'll do it again in a heartbeat. The delay in analyzing your problem was because YOU failed to attach a log?the full log is REQUIRED when asking for support. This is clearly spelled out in many places in the forum?including the top of the Support forum. Rather than providing the log when asked, you chose to argue about it resulting in further delays. As to the development team... They actively work on solving problems with the bot. Problems are not solved 'on demand', but after the problem has been addressed and tested to the best of our ability. You're probably not aware, but a bot is unlike any other software program you'll ever use. We cannot reproduce problems on demand?for instance, we can't make a 'battleground or dungeon pop' right as you are doing step N of a quest. We have 10 or so classes to test with 2 factions?and yes things as simple as faction or toon sex or height can have a serious difference in how the bot behaves in certain circumstances. With any other software program, you have to work around issues until a new release can be made that addresses the problem. There is no difference here. M$soft and the GrannySmith company still have fundamental (and critical) bugs in their apps and OSes that have been outstanding for years. Your BS about 'being unresponsive' is simply untrue and has no relationship to the world of software. The fact that you equate BosslandGmbH to McDonald's makes very clear how deep your lack of understanding of software products goes. CodenameG has indicated he has passed your information to the development team. That's it. You simply have to work around the issue until the next release is available. This is also no guarantee that your problem will be repaired in the release (even though we try). Fixes, like features, sometimes have to be 'staged' into releases. In short, we're repairing things as fast as possible from a master set of issues that need to be addressed. You SERIOUSLY need to adjust your expectations to the reality of software development (at ANY company). As to your problem... From your log, Honorbuddy is (trying to) fly *exacty* where instructed by the profile. This is not a bug in Honorbuddy, but the profile. The profile is simply providing the wrong FlyTo coordinate. Why would it do this? It appears the profile you are using is damaged. For example, from your log the profile is not compiling correctly: [18:39:53.992 D] 2 errors encountered while compiling condition 'Me.MapId == 1 || Me.MapId == 0 || Me.MapId 571 || Me.MapId 530' Because of this, the profile is executing parts meant for another continent. Profiles executed on the wrong continent have a strong tendency to 'fly off into the ocean' trying to get back to the other continent. Find a known-working profile. As to the support team... They have given you MORE than enough support with the information you provided. You obviously don't have a clue what is going on to think that posting that log fragment was sufficient to analyze your problem. I will allow this thread to remain open for a little longer. But, if things get out of hand, I'll be closing it. If it gets ugly, the thread will be deleted and infractions handed out. For starters, no more foul language. I previously adjusted your initial post in the original thread to bring it into compliance, and we let the first post in this thread slide, but that's all you get. cheers, chinajade
I think we will leave it at that as this is at a stand still. However I would appreciate if you could leave the thread open as Id like to hear other peoples thoughts about this.
