What professions should i get?

Ok so I leveled up a DK to 65 so I could max some professions. I have an alt with maxed herb and mining. What professions should I get for the DK, and what should I make to maximize profits with that profession.

i would say skinning, but then you'd have to go back and "powerlevel" it.. I suppose it depends on what you want to do with the DK.. is he just a profession alt? will you be playing/raiding him? if you want professions that go with your current char, inscription/alch mesh well with herbalism and BS/JC go well with mining.

 

He is just a profession alt. If I do JC and Alch, what should I make with it?

 

lvl him to 75 and then powerlvl your profs to 425 so you can earn money with them when cataclysm hits..

if u use JC you need 4 days per epic gem recepie or a lot of money for necklaces, so you won't make enough money with it till cataclysm, as far as prospecting titanium goes idk your servers economy..
depending on the deman of scrolls on your server i would make the char an jc / enchanter... but thats just if the demand on scrolls is high enough to buy you out..
on the server I have my main, i'm the only one selling enchanting scrolls.. so that nets me about 4-5k a day.. but i have every needed prof: jc, ench, scribe



alch the same, flasks & co don't have a lot of demand anymore..

So I can't get 450 in skill at lvl 65?

 

Yes you can get to 450 at level 65..at least thats what wowhead says:
