Hey Guys, In the last weeks of Farming i gthered some Gems and i am a total Gem Noob. I do not know how to get the most profit out of it. I have no JCer =/ Here is a screen of them: (not much i know)
You can do 1 of the following: sell them on AH see what the jc daily is and sell them for expensive on the AH make a jc'er and sell them cut as needed find a jc'er who wants to make some $$ and sell them to him in bulk give to a guildy for a given amount (similar to above) donate to guild bank
old school wotlk gems are just about worthless if u have a JC cut the rare gems and vendor em. i would try to AH the uncommon gems getting at least 1g each if its any lower on AH dont waste your time unless u have an alchemist then u transmute metas. Vendor em if they below 1g each and move on
I was also in your shoes. My DK is a JC and my bank was completely full of unused, uncut gems. I spammed trade offering gem sales in bulk, I asked over guild chat, I even got denied guild bank access for depositing them into the guild bank (lol my GM removed the restrictions after having a "little talk" with me about filling the guild bank with garbage), but no one wanted them. I thought I'd end up sucking up my losses by posting them on the AH, but I was actually surprised when they were all purchased. I didn't make as much as I'd hoped, but I still came out about 400g on top.
If you have a JC, your best bet is to combine the green gems with eternal earth to make green jewelery and vendor it, or DE it and sell the wrath enchanting mats. you could even go one step further and make enchanting scrolls to sell on the AH, they still sell good to people not geared at 85.
