Since I'm quite new and literally just upgraded to 3 sessions today, what will happen since this bot has apparently been detected?

Quite new to botting, do we just wait for a new version?

you cant say "already" at no circumstance.

honorbuddy lasted since 2010 without any banwave, besides that it's not even clear IF it's a banwave targeting honorbuddy or every bot there is including assumptions of blizzard.
back in the good old glider days there were about 2 banwaves a year.

wait a few days or weeks until the dev team releases some intel about the ban reasons, in the meantime, just appeal the ban if you got one and stay calm :)

Bossland team will probably look into it and try to patch their product up to undetected again, then the cat and mouse game begins again. Or (depending on the severity of the banwave) HB will die and some other bot will rise to take its place like so many times before. A bot dying usually only follows selling out or loosing in court.. Which I sincerely hope this is not about.

doesn't seem the devs have the remotest idea of what's getting flagged. they've just fallen behind the times - tripwire is fine for warden, but pretty clearly blizz doesn't rely on warden AT ALL for its wow bans. They didn't use warden in MoP to ban all the GB2 farmers, they aren't using it now, etc.

I'm sure the company will go on but have to assume blizz will just keep detecting the bot and issuing banwaves every couple of months. unless they can figure out the detection methods (which by the way may well be 100% server-side through log analysis), which I dont see happening
