      Here is my current situation:

Right now I own one account that has a few level 80's on it that I would like to disburse among other accounts.

My future plans are to buy 1 or 2 more accounts and place some of the 80s from my main account to these newly purchased accounts, so that I can start botting multiple characters at once.

While this process seems very easy. I'm having a struggle deciding what the best way to do this would be, as I want the accounts to remain as independent from each other as possible. That way if one gets banned, they don't all get banned.

Does anyone have any advice when it comes down to this kind of stuff? What measures can I take when transferring characters to other accounts or creating other accounts that will prevent them from becoming too "linked"?

      Thanks a bunch.

Erm.... well considering Blizz will only transfer characters between accounts that have the same first+last names.... you're gonna be stuck with at least THAT link.

Beyond that I think the general consensus of different bnet account/different payment method (or prepaid cards)/different IP would still hold true.

Do you happen to have an incredibly common name, like John Smith? Because that might be less of a concern for you than if your name is Hamish von Schleicher. =P

I thought it was just the last name that had to be the same? That's how it use to be atleast.

Personally I would advise against it... I've done it before and they hit me with one of those account locks asking you to send in all your account info and passport/drivers license. I sent it in and they then asked me to send in another photo of myself with my face visible, holding my ID in one hand and a copy of a local newspapers with today's date clearly visible. After sending that in they just sent me a template "after a careful investigation of your account we can confirm the evidence was correct" response and refused to unlock it!

coupled with the fact it costs at least ?45 (even more for US) for a fresh account plus ?15 for the transfer it's just not worth the risk.
