So i was botting mining in Uldum today, and i got whispered reported, i watch my bot or am close to it 98% of the time. Im usually just watching a movie, anyway i had been talking with a guild member for the past 5 hours so i was watching the screen when i got whispered, i replied back within 2 seconds saying Eh? What you don't like me stealing your ore?
Anyway i reported him for harassment because "i dont appreciate being called a bot while im farming". This person did 100% put in a ticket, anyway what should i do, should i just ignore it or should i stop botting for a bit? Or did i screw myself completely.
I don't have auctions up every day, each weak on average i have no more then 40 auctions up, unless its for volatile's which i sell in stacks of 10.
If i do happen to get banned what would i say as a response to a ban email?
I didn't use any other programs with this, i have had 1 suspension before for ninjaing loot back in WotLK, i bot on average for 12-30 hours in a week, raid frequently on another toon on this account same server, and i'm a core raider in my guild which is 3rd on the server. I was using a custom made profile for mining and using Amplify mage CC, and i'm on a US server, Using Rarekiller plugin, and mage helper.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Chances are he is bluffing. Just carry on your normally routine. Just keep an eye open when your botting for any GM messages or player messages.

I doubt he's bluffing, he seemed really into reporting me and he was a complete D-Bag, who was probably botting himself :p

If this char has a few achievs under his belt or is fairly well geared you could simply just run a few achiev runs so that it looks like a decent alt if account is looked into and not like you was farming on it all the time.

if you watch your stuff, you're fine. a gm looking into the matter would just look to see if you answer psts (sometimes they'll pst you from a fake blizz acc) or they'll port you to a random place.

if they slap on a ban / suspension, open a ticket right away, it'll show that you were actually there at ur comp and not botting.

If I thought I was reported then I'd have a mental breakdown

      Happening right now :p
this toon has not many achievements, and is crappy geared, hes a obvious farming toon that i created on my account just for farming. :p, but my main is on the acc and he has 7540 Achievement points and a 385 Ilevel, plus 4 other level 85 toons with alot of gear and achivments
