Is there any way to use flying mounts instead of ground while questing or grind. Isn't it little strange when you see someone 565 item lvl who questing MoP with Black Skeletal Horse? If u have programmable keyboard and if u use plugin like Jumpy when player come closely it can even fly sometimes. I ask developers, when you gonna stop mutilate this bot and what is real reason why they are doing this. Thank You!

i assume you are running questing on a toon already 90? the questing profiles arnt made for you to get your achievments, although they will, but they are made for lower toons without flying therefor the bot will not fly
only one that will fly is dreadwaste i think

Probably because the profile is coded to use a ground mount. Even if you change the settings in the menu, the profile tells the bot to use a ground mount since its for a sub 90 toon that can't fly in MOP.

If I'm not mistaken, it's the profile that tells the bot what to mount, and when to fly. There are only a few profiles that are coded to tell the bot to fly. Mostly, since you can't fly in MoP until 90, there are only a couple (maybe) of profiles that call for flying in MoP. They're more than likely Dread Waste profiles. There are also some profiles (in questing packs such as Cava and Kickazz's) that call for flying in Outlands at level 60. It's not really the bot's fault that you're not flying. It's based on the profile you're using.

Just think of the profiles as a set of instructions, and the bot is simple a machine that will function after being given instructions (profiles).

Guys i think you do not understand situation at all. Example: i have character 90lvl and start bot dailies in MoP. Bot will fly to position where he start to kill 10/15 or 20 mobs and loot 5 quest items. While he killing mobs and run between em he will use ground mount (it should not fly because its low range). If there is more players he will get reported 1000 times in 2 days... Because no character 565lvl will use Brown Kodo and farm some mobs.....If it could use flying mount from drop menu in HB settings it will be fine....(that mount wont fly he will run as ground but will look 99% less bottish .)

That is an issue with the Profile, not the bot.

YAAARRRRRRRRR............!!!!!!!! Tel me code line to put in any questing profile who will force bot to mount my Black Drake while it run between hotspots. (avoid use macro commands).^%&#$*!@.
It will only fly up to grind area of questing profile and use ground mount to complete quest. I want to use Black Drake (as ground mount) in grind area? Is it possible ....Yes sure it is but it require too much effort and 97% of you will not have that benefit.... Simple question is....WHY ?

Being rude and acting entitled doesnt get you anywhere, present your issue without accusation and stay polite.

These people have offered you an answer for why it behaves this way. It has been reiterated that it is the profile being used that is determining what type of mount to use. Knowing that, you might politely contact the author and request a feature added for flying mounts as ground mounts or to enable them as ground mounts, or learn how to edit it yourself and do so. You might also try to edit your Ground Mount selection and just choose whatever mount you want.

better start learning to write your own profiles if you want specifics like this.

majority of users don't have a problem with the process.... maybe don't bot on your main account if you're worried about losing it?

The best thing u can do is to post in the HB Feature Request Thread, asking to allow the user to set a Flying Mount as Ground mount as well.

Noone's trolling you, Slober. Several people have explained exactly why the profiles use ground mounts. Just because you don't like the answer you're getting, it doesn't change the fact that the profiles were created in that manner.

If you want to change a profile, message the profile creator and see if they are willing to help you. Also, as others have pointed out, put a request in the request forum. This isn't the appropriate place for this kind of post.

You're really going to need to change your attitude on these forums if you want help.

778 posts and you still didn't learn how to read.
He is not asking for the quest profile to fly him to destination or fly him around. (profile editing)
He just wants HB to mount a drake instead of a kodo. It's that simple.

Maybe YOU should learn to read. He is asking for the profile to mount a flying mount and fly him in between kills instead of going along the ground. Which is part of the profile.

      Thanks for playing though.

Ryftobuddy is right. The type of mount that is mounted at any given time is controlled by the profile used. The profile can have you fly to a certain spot, but have you use a ground mount to travel around to nearby areas, instead of flying you there as well. It seems that the profile Slober is using is having him fly to certain areas, but then it has him mount a ground mount for the nearby locations. HB decides what mount to use when the profile specifies to fly or to travel on the ground. The only way around this is to have the profile use only flying mounts throughout the entire profile. My apologies if I am wrong, but this is how I understand things to work with HB and flying via AFK methods.

And Zeldrak is right. This macro:

/run if not IsMounted() then local m,t,f="mount",{{},{}} for i=2,GetNumCompanions(m) do tinsert(t[bit.band(2,select(6,GetCompanionInfo(m,i)))==0 and 1 or 2],i) end f=IsFlyableArea() and 2 or 1 CallCompanion(m,t[f][random(#t[f])]) else Dismount() end

will call a random flying mount in a flying zone or a random ground mount in a ground-only zone. It's actually an extremely popular macro, and is proof alone that choosing a random mount isn't a big deal...But that's not what the OP is asking for. He clearly wants to fly between hotspots, but that's not the way questing profiles are written.

I see people doing dailies using ground mounts all the time. I don't think it's a big deal and I sure wouldn't report someone for using a ground mount.
