Why do you buy gold if you bot?

I notice a lot of botters also buy gold, but why? If you are making 10k a day from botting, do you really need to buy gold?

 

that is quite odd, where did you hear that?

I someone is selling gold really cheap I buy and then I resell at a better price..

 

when bitters start on new servers some might buy gold for professions or various thing they may need to get to farming

i bought gold on a server once, only to start making gold, now i just sell a battle pet on other server instead.

not all people bot for gold also, you need to remember that, i initially started botting so i could have "equal" chance of getting gear on my toon because i wasnt playing much.

 

Someone make more gold with the more gold you have, for investing

 

I do buy gold if I start with a new 5 man group. the reason is that when you are lvl 80 and 85 you will need to buy gear to get an higher itemlvl. I just buy 10k for 5-7$
