my main is 100% legit and will always be, but just wondering if my main account will get banned if i started to bot on another account? a simple question that surely have been answered before, so I give you my apologies
Picture this: I level up my bot account to 90, starts to grind GIO and deposit it all on the guild bank, my main account withdraw everything and shuffle it. Will that get my main account banned? Excuse my paranoia
I used to bot excessively on a 2nd account and transferred the generated gold (millions!) to my main account through a guild bank. When my bot account was finally suspended, my main account remained unaffected. With the latest IP-ban reports in mind, however, you'd be well-advised to use a VM/***** for your bot.
Did you use a puplic profile or it was a private one? I dont really mind to buy a new account every month if Im lucky to stay alive. aslong my main account dosent get a ban ^^
Your main is safe, unless he gains some profit from the botting account. The scenario you mentioned with the GIO shuffle does get him in risk in my opinion, and I personally wouldn't do it.
That's the answer I was looking for, I think I will stick with the legit way unless someone have some proof that my main wont be in risk.
I will not sell the gold I make, I will only use the GIO ore to transfer it from the bot account to my main account which will process the ore and shuffle it. All profit goes for personal use
But IF I play the botted account and play legit on my main at the same time = ban on the both accounts? Excuse for the paranoia again
Up until recently if say you'd be fine -- HOWEVER some of us have experienced battle.net wide banes. I personally have lost accounts in a battle.net wide ban and l this includes accounts that have been frozen inactive for years and had never botted on. So beware.
