Hello, two days ago I switched from 2gb to 6gb of ram (i admit it, it's maybe a little bit overdone), and from Windows xp professional 32 bit to Windows 7 professional 64 bit. So far it's going a little bit crappy. My video card was able to render almost 200fps, it's now bitching at aroud 80! Windows 7 seems to dislike my virtual desktop manager (dexpot, I even switched to VirtuaWin but the results are the same: GB and HB keep being showed on every virtual desktop, no matter what), and the game itself seems to crash more ofter (at least once a day). My operating system is original, and it upgraded itself with the latest patches and drivers (should I install the video driver by myself?) My computer is a Core Duo e5200 (not the best stuff around, but still gets the job done), 6gigs of ram (dual channel kingston cl6 ddr2 667) and my video card is an ATI Radeon HD 3850. Is it me or it's just like that? EDIT: upgraded my video driver to the latest release, nothing changed.
thats an old mid grade video card, lucky you get 80fps. Also did you format before you installed win7? or just run an update?
turn of aero desktop and go to regular turn off gadgets run in dx9 / windowed / low res (for bots) I run 4gb on my botting comp and I can run 12 accts just fine (win 7 x64 ultimate) - Kick Note: I had a 4850 HD a few months ago when I ran that many accts. Now I run a 5770 HD Overclocked. I think HB2 may be a little sluggish (in IB) due to all of the codes it likes to throw around. I'm running out of CPU usage, not RAM, ironically (when running HB2)
