Title says it all. With all these recent BG bans, I'm a little nervous to PvP in arenas and BG's with just a CR while manually controlling my toon. Wondering if anyone has any input on this at all as I'd like to start using HB in arenas but wouldn't want to jeopardize my account any further than I'm already doing.

      Thanks xD

"On the question of ban waves, the current situation with hacking in PvP is flat out absurd, anyone that is following it has seen all the videos of fly hackers in arena/RBGs. Blizzard is so quiet on the issue I always feel it is slightly ominous (could also be they are just focusing on Blizzcon/Legion and don't care about PvP enough to tackle it), but I would take this into account when considering whether it is worth jumping straight back in or waiting to see how this situation plays out. "

The statement above was quouted from someone that pays attention to detail....

I renewed a WoW account with a game card which was inactive for about 5 months and it got banned in two days. I did questing first for a few hours but then did two battlegrounds with Millz BGFarmer with custom settings for that and the CC and was hit with a 72 hour ban just a hour later when the account was offline at about 3am in the morning.

Meanwhile, other accounts on the same computer are leveling with no issues what so ever.

It would not surprise me if they are able to detect HB, but choose to only ban in battlegrounds due to the overwhelming problem they have with bots there which get increasingly noticed by normal players. Alternatively, they could just be much more proactive in battlegrounds on monitoring/responding to player reports, being less hesitant to reach over for the banhammer. Bots stick out like a sore thumb in almost all aspects of the game.

I bet they can detect but they lost again 100.000 Customers and anounced that they stop telling the Customer Numbers, i think the let a Guy who pays Monthly get away rather than loos mor paying Customers

you should be worried about the way you bot.

IS the person next to you able to see that you are botting?

Is he jelly cause you do double of his dps / healing in impossible ways.

do you use 0.1 sec interupts in pvp? Throw traps at impossible angles etc etc.

No? Then there is no worry, if so... adept. Its the people around you that report you
when you do something way to obvious.

Blizzard has no active ***** prevention other then its user base. The only thing blizz did
was in may, and fcked us all.

Thats when blizzard acts, all the rest is just player reports.

Blizzard WAS quiet about it, the first blue response in MONTHS has reached the forum last week.

The QQ is piling up, they cant deny it or face the other way no more.
This is wat happend in mai as well.

      Something is up, soon.

Trouble is, the bot just looks like a bot. You can spot them a mile off just by how they move using CTM... It's painfully obvious. Plus, it's common sense not to use inhumanly timed interrupts etc.

I was banned after doing just two battlegrounds on a newly renewed account which I spent an excessive amount of time tweaking settings. It's odd how many others are posting stories about being banned after botting in battlegrounds, I'd be interested to know if people become banned after just using a CR in a battleground.

Its common sense to you, not to most. Everyone thinks all inhere know what they are doing. Most dont have a clue.

I am botting same bnet, new account, since may banwave, always bg. Ashran and rbg. I never bot afk. Ever. And 0 problems.
Fun fact, i did get 6 suspensions for language ingame. On 1 i was even talking with a gm while botting.

If you get banned, im sure most is player reports. And be sure. Those that are botting themselves and see you
      will report you as well.
