  • Wow crashes when HB starts, not DX problem.

      So i just bought the honorbuddy license and i downloaded it an all..
      i start wow, minimize, disable all addons, but it still keep crashing when i launh HB.
      i have looked up on the forums but all i find is the direct x 11 issue, which i have set to 9. and even checked with the command line so what shall i do?

      You can't bot with HB with WoW minimized.
      Set it to windowed 800x600 mode.
      Start Hb.
      If still crashes then upload log again.

      same thing

      same thing happend, just crashed at start of HB.
      Well does the HB folder needs to be placed somewhere specific?

      Change it back to Wow.exe
      Not Worgencraft.exe

      It is not Worgencraft.exe it is only the folder name , btw i tried to change it, but didnt fix anything,

      My mistake.

      But I need your honorbuddy log file.

      Go into honorbuddy/logs/
      Delete them all.
      Cause the crash again, attach :)

      What OS ? Windows 7?

      Also running Honorbuddy as admin?
      (right click->Run as administrator)

      Any Mods running?
      I had the ENB-Series Mod running and it crashed. Had to removed it and now it workes fine, thx to Tony :)

      also ESLwire will crash it as well

      i fixed ot i ran with the developer preview of windows8.
      i simply use windows 7 in a virtual machine and it works fine, thanks.

      we will support the final Win8 version,not the beta or developer version
