Hey. I've botted for a while now and I know how to get my client on in 32bit mode (Both through the launcher and the plain WoW.exe) The trouble is no matter how i launch it, it goes in 64 bit. (Even says release x64 on the login page). Any more work arounds here? Or is there something I don't know? Ty. (my hb has been updated and reinstalled) Thanks in advance.
Hi, Westzephyr, The way the 5.4 WoWclient works, you have to do a little dance to get the 32-bit WoWclient to launch on a 64-bit operating system. Even if you select "32-bit" in launcher preferences, or try to launch the wow.exe directly, it now 'rolls over' to the 64-bit version of the WoWclient automatically if you're on a 64-bit OS. Honorbuddy automates this dance for you with the new .../Honorbuddy/Honorbuddy.Launcher.exe. Use this to launch your WoWclient and all should be good. cheers, chinajade
Hi, Rubitz, If you have the same problem, then the same solution will work for you. If it doesn't, please open your own Support thread, and be certain to attach a log. Ref: [Guide] How to attach your log cheers, chinajade
.....Or you can even more easily rename the wow-64.exe file with something like: wow-64_bak.exe Guarantee You will run on the 32 bit Cheers
You just have to keep an eye out that a WoWpatch doesn't restore the Wow-64.exe. Other than that, its a fine solution. cheers, chinajade
still doesn't work tried to rename it but still which wow should i start the wow-64_bak.exe or wow or wowlauncher ?
Hi, Rubitz, AH, I missed your question--sorry. When filling in the details, you want the path to wow.exe. cheers, chinajade
1. start launcher 2. set paths 3. launch 4. log into the wow-world with your desired char 5. wait 6. once the char is logged in, login to the open HB window and also make sure you are using the correct, for your region, build
