Would now be a good time to review your stance on a 64 bit HB. I'm not talking about running two programs for 32 and 64 but upgrading HB to a 64 bit platform. It seems like now would be a good time to think about something like that.
u think they will still wave it away like they always did? One way or the other, theres no future for hb if not x64. be it now or in 2 years. Why not do it now then after a massive ban wave. maybe they do something about bg buddy as well, if they dont, it shows how much they care. pretty confident the QQ of pvp ers got all that heat on us. Pve is closed. they cry about content, boss diff , loot.... PvP cries like hell, since most they meet in every game be it arena or bg, are bots.
Bankrupt? They're worth millions and have no overhead ofher than paying their employees in that case LOL. And remember - this wouldnt have to happen had they done this concurrently when they were warned instead of closing threads and being greedy in refusal to touch x64 unless blizz required it. They did require it in the "I know that your much less likely to be a bot if your using x64" kind of way. Their time and money just wasn't worth making our accounts as secure as possible at that point. Now we all pay the price. They have no choice but to go x64 now considering x86 detection is a "thing" and if they aren't going to cut and run then they certainly aren't going to make the same mistake twice. Especially if they want to win trust and confidence back. By all means swing swing though.
No overhead? You honestly dont believe that the lawsuits are bleeding Bossland dry? The current banwave is gonna reduce overall sales dramatically aswell, and you want them to stop and redo HB for 64 bit? Terrible timing
We have no informations if and what security mechanism Blizzard has for his 64bit software. Okay most bots use 32 bit but there is no guarantee this will not change in the feature. There are bots for 64bit wow so we can be sure Blizzard also works for security mechanism fpr 64 bit and having a 64 bit wow bot is no guarantee not walking into the same trap well thats easy to say but you can spend as much money you want , you never have a guarantee you can't be detected. Even the white house isn't safe for beeing hacked. And we have to consider the bot was released somewhere in or shortly before wotlk. If you have bought the bot within wotlk you have had 6 years free support. I don't think they swim within money. But hey take yourself a look. Its a german company and you can see the business report within the "Bundesanzeiger". What I wanted to say. Okay you can be right maybe its a goot time to start a "honorbuddy v3" with extra pay for 64 bit but even this isn't any guarantee not beeing detected. They have to fight against the detection not about beeing 32 or 64 bit.
we've already been over this in every other 64bit thread, the reasoning has still not changed. thread closed.
