I have searched the forums for my questions and haven't been able to find the answers. A little summary, I took advantage of the "Black Friday" 2010 sale at Best Buy and purchased a few Battle Chests and WotLK copies. I now have access to a computer completely unconnected to my personal one, and I'd like to set up a bot on it. My questions are; Will I need to use one of the bought copies to install onto the secondary computer or can i transfer my own full Cata WoW to it (using an external hard drive) and just create a battle-net account using just the WotLK keys? I'd like to keep these accounts unconnected for the time being and am unsure if the copy would bring a connection.

I just copy and paste my folders personally.

Great information to know for me as well. Perhaps I'll do this once a new computer comes into my household.
