Ati Tray Tools (because of ATI Card, got no nvidia for rivatuner, the points which should be adjusted are the same) I will post just screenshots, the settings are easy to find, even when they are in german Texture LOD Adjustment: I would not recommend to increase it more than to 7~. In rivatuner you can adjust it to an higher number (because of higher range) Note: When you have problems with ATI Tray Tools disable Picture in Picture. CPU Load pends from 15-25% with 3 Bots, 3x Gatherbuddy and Firefox running.
John1337 12 bots on AMD X4 9750 2.4ghz? no way;D how much FPS in wow clients? can you show screenshot of CPU usage? and how 6GB is enough for 12bots? give screenshot of RAM usage also.
With few performance tweaks you can run easily on Ph4 16 bots. Just look over forum, there was few screens from one guy.
Running 12 bots isn't the hard part, the hard part is paying for all the subscriptions/etc. I could run a lot more than 20 bots, and still play a FPS on ultra settings with no lag.
Just downloaded Rivatuner, and i got completely no idea of what to do, can u please explain ? cause i cant understand anything ... Thank you
running two sessions on a crappy hp 625 laptop it has a dual core athlon II p320 at 2.1ghz p320 4 gigs of ram ati 4200 (yeah it's a shitty igp) - edited config.wtf so wow will start at 320*240 - background fps set to minimum (5 fps I guess) - every graphical setting to low - very few addons (onebag, bulkmail and that's it) - every wow sessions takes less than 600mb of ram If I set the cpu pstate to 800mhz, running two sessions brings my cpu occupation to around 50% and way lower (30-35%) if I leave the cpu frequency free to scale to 2,1ghz, the laptop starts swapping when I open a lot of tabs in firefox (which uses up to 1gb of ram) and I begin streaming videos while running word, xchat and notepad++. It's a 300 euro laptop so I can't complain too much. I'm planning to purchase a sandy bridge celeron after xmas to use it as a home print server, home file server and botting machine. With 8gb of ram should be plenty for 4-6 sessions or 2-3 sessions and some light server duties. People who are claiming high cpu occupation are using heavy ui mods (that aren't needed by the bot and may conflict with some functions) or high graphic settings while trying to run multiple sessions, in short they are clueless.
I don't know about setting the backround fps that low, but I did find some interesting commands. I personally added these to my config.wtf file: SET gxResolution "320x240" SET MaxFPS "30" SET maxFPSBk "30" And this is the site with some more: Console variables - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft
i had the same CPU but 8 gigs of ddr3 ram. i ran 12 accounts easy. hell Bossland runs 51 bots on 1 computer....just have to know how to minimize ram and cpu usage.
whatcha413 lol. when it was? 2 years ago? today WOW cliens and HB are using much more CPU than in past. on Phenom X4 965 3.41ghz? hard to belive, show screenshot whith CPU-Z and Task manager/Performance window. CptPron this dont do nothing. because you anyway make window smaller by mouse. no needed to write this command, because at start you need Large window to see and type password for accaunt. after that you make WOw clint window smaller by mouse.
I don't need to see, I copy and paste, or just type it in. If it gives me an error I can go full screen it's just a good start. I like the option very much.
I did that on thePhenom X4 955 for one year now. When I began the Cpu was at ~70-80%. A half year ago it was at 80-90% and two weeks ago it was 100% all the time with the computer lagging hard. I then bought a Phenom II X6 and lived happily every after
Bioern thats the main words. i dont want to know how much bots you get setup a half year ago. all i know that today Phenom X4 can not hold 12 bots at one time.
http://www.thebuddyforum.com/blogs/bossland/155-gatherbuddy-hb-performance-part-ii.html he was running 24 GB1 (not GB2 which is heavier on the cpu) sessions and 7 HB sessions on a i7 920 at 40% cpu occupation with 12gb of ram and found that his bottleneck was in the gpu (a 5770) if you are unable to run even a couple of sessions on any dual core from 2008 to now you are doing it wrong
