Thanks for this profile great work! so far had 1 wrong npc to pick up quest from + a few quests ive had to interact with, but certainly not complaining!! Are you working on any higher lvl profiles? would happily use more from yourself + would be greatly appreciated
Only major problem i've had so far is picking up quest: <PickUp QuestName="The Sprites' Plight" QuestId="29745" GiverName="Outcast Sprite" GiverId="55438" X="2491.445" Y="-1946.844" Z="217.6123" /> Wouldnt pick up the quest, had to find it myself... not quite sure how/where i found it (in the same area), but bot wouldnt pick it up strangely?
After my stupid 24h ip reset i tried to start the bot again but he is hanging at the "go to stormwind" message EDIT: fixed (maybe something for the accept quest loop people) for me. First shutdown hb. Go to the settings dir search for the charname and delete everything but the singular dir. restart hb-> working for me ^^
FYI, Overall, pretty good. I should have taken some notes for problem areas. Below is one, <Objective QuestName="Jaded Heart" QuestId="30502" Type="CollectItem" ItemId="80074" CollectCount="6" /> Makes this a lot harder than it needs to be. Needs to UseItem 80074 before trying to kill/interact with it. I suspect some classes can handle it, but by default the mob has over 1m hps.
Good luck Cocaine, I noticed that some of my chars absolutely hate questing. Others ran all the way through this without a single issue. Not sure if it matters but I ran a Demo Lock and Shadow Priest through flawlessly. My Warrior wont even attempt to quest. I dont think it's Cav's profile. ( dont see how it could be ) Just an HB bug that I hope gets sorted out soon.
And woot, SVN updated with new quests, please help Nav test them out Just started my Lock, Ill post anything unusual that happens, thanks a ton for the work.
I dunno, when I ran this on my Lock I just clicked the 1-90 alliance file. I had 0 problems until the very end. And I think Cav fixed the problem I had.
Had the same trouble on my Warrior. the Bot was more of a hindarance than help up till the start of the pearlfin village quests. And my 3 other characters didnt have too much trouble in the same area (apart from the reported bugs) Anyway outstanding effort Cava. About to start the next part.
already explain that in a diferent post that quest its a big pain Bot need avoid Elite mob pick one item, then use item on that mob and kill the weaked mob, there is no code to do that probably devs will do one quest behavior for that, or maybe there are suficiente codes but i realy dont know, its my first attempt scripting for HB, with time im sure i will do better like kicks does, the only solution i got was pick 6 itens (will die alot with that) and then start using itens. still have an problem because bot will "burn" some itens with taged mobs and got no kill with that, thats why i put the code to pick more itens if he run out, its one of the last quest on map 85->86 probably that quest will never be used because normal profile will cal the 4winds map as soon char hit 86 only starter profile with full quests full loot will do that quest
Same prob on DK - even if I had it myself it would fixate on a sprite and info tab says "picking up quest The Sprites plight"
The only problem I'm running into is that the bot keeps trying to pick up quests that it already has, so it just sits there talking to the person over and over until I stop it. You said this was a HB problem but I have the latest version, I've tried reopening wow and HB, as well as downloading a fresh version of HB and the problem hasn't really gone away. Is there any other way to fix this?
