[A - Quest] Tol barad by Nokdu

Tol Barad Remake

Because many People asking me to send or upload my Profile:
Here is my Profile for Tol Barad. I took the Profile of Nokdu (thanks to him) and make some bugfixing, insert a vendor and a go back to peninsula base when finished and rearrange the Quests how I would do them.

Broken Quests:

• Magnets, How do they work
• Bomb's Away

Some comments:
Be carefull with the Quest "Shark Tank". If you pick up these Quest the Bot will try to solve it and probably die when trying to kill the Shark.
I tried to fix the Quest "Walk a Mile in there Shoes", but i couldn't test it yet. Please gimme feedback if it works.
This Profile is already under construction and the PvP-Sided Quests aren't testet, because we mostly don't win Tol Barad on my Realm . Please give me feedback If I had to take a look at one of these Quests.

Edit 24.02.2011: Fixed Captain P Harris and the Bot will go back to the Questgivers on PvP-Base if he has the Quest "Swamp Bait".

I've experienced one problem with your profile, katzerle.

On the quest Captain P. Harris, the bot just swims underwater underneath the boat or whatever the mob is on. Not sure if there's anything you can do on your end or if it is just a mesh issue.
Otherwise, it ran much smoother for me than the other profile, thanks for all the effort you put into it!

 

I implement a better Hotspot for Captain P Harris, from were he could climb easyla the Boat. Hopefully this would fix it, for my range-DD it does. But I can't test it with an Melee. Can someone gimme feedback if the new Version (3 Threads over these you could download it) works better?

Nodku, maybe you could also take my version and attach it to the first thread?

 

will this do the quests in tol barad or is it just the penninsula?

 

Both, Peninsula and Tol Barad.
But Tol Barad isn't really testet, yet. Please give me feedback if these Quests are buggy and I will take a look at it.

 

katzerle the quest "Ghostbuster" it ignores the mobs just running around the area.

 

Hmmm could you attach a log? Because I can't reproduce this failure. The quest runs with my toon nearly 30 times.

PS: make sure you downloaded really my Version of Tol Barad, not the Version in the first Post. You find my Version in Post #21.

Hmmm Just tested and on my Toon it works fine.
Did you have the newest HB? If Yes, maybe it's broken and you have to reinstall it.
Or has anyone else the same Problem?

 

"stop called!" means you pressed the STOP button Bezalel. The bot was most likely still loading mesh tiles. Have a bit more patience.

 

The problem is , i didn't press STOP.
Then again i downloaded latest HB, and loaded the profile, and same thing happens.

Is there maybe some prerequisites i need to do in wow for this to work, because, all other profiles work normal.

BTW: i have set HB for Quest mode.

And other Questprofiles work, you said? One Question: Did you use the Profile of the First Thread or mine? You find it in Page 3 --> Here
I can't reproduce the failure, sorry. I have a normal HB installation and a normal WOW. No special settings. On my toon it works fine

 

katzerle, why you dont opens a new thread whit your profile ?? no blaming or complaining, is just more easy to get your?s updates only this m8

 

after you responded i downloaded HB again and just typed in my username and pass the selected Quest mode, and loaded your profile.....but same thing happens.
I am clueless, because other quest profiles work perfectly also GB2 works.

BTW: i have BuddyLifetime

 

do i need any special quest behaviors?
