Well now yiu mention it. The combat routine has me pulling my hair. I know its not the profiles fault but.... dramatic pause.... those dammed laser beams.. what are they called. How do I stop getting cut in half by them. Even with the range sliders out to maximum she still manages ti die by them. Any ideas? Oh about the rings. All the components are soul bound correct. But what if you invited some people into your party at 80m a head. On mp9 and guaranteed the ring to everyone. Farming 5nv is the only slow part. I would say 80m for that ring is a steal. Plenty of potential customers there maybe.. Anyway that was my thinking. But im a late comer to the game so maybe most people have them already... for all their toons... on all their accounts lol $$$ V
Arcane Senties...and yes they are the bot's prime nemesis. There isn't much we can do about them at this point except increase your resistance and loh/s It's been longed talked about but I don't believe DB captures their rotation which you would need to effectively dodge them. The problem with increasing the radius is it *should* go out of the range of sentry, however if all of your prime targets (aka elites) are in the vicinity of those sentry radii, as soon as your bot leaves the radius, it will go back in after them. Cycle and repeat (annoying issue with Time Bubbles against Zolton Uber that I found). It would require some trinity dev work to essentially only acquire targets outside the radius of sentries which might result in never actually going after those elites. No easy solution except ONE: User defined settings for elites to complete avoid: You can get the properties of elites, and if you find an elite with certain combinations or contains sentires, do everything in your bot power to ignore and avoid them. Might be a good feature request to trinity. For now, get some LoH/Steal...movement speed too. Also increasing pickup radius can help gobble potions the drop.
Before you press start. Press settings. Bot settings. In the lower right side of the pop up window. Move the slider to mp you want. All future runs will be done at this level.
Thanks magi. Was playing with the avoidance settings to try gtfo when it is range 10. But the combat seems to take priority over avoidance. So it will always kill the mob first then try to avoid. Ill keep playing with the settings and post if I find a solution. Don't hold your breath though lol
I got a question. I start the bot act2. After i got the key. The character is running around in the camp and doing nothing, so i change act manually. and when i start act1. the game said matchmaking error. I would want to know what is going wrong?

Make sure you guys have all the necessary quests completed. It sounds like you might not. Not sure what error dialog is closing, but that's the only thing I can think of and typically the reason for it failing like that. Double check as I've had a number of guys say they completed all the quests, and managed to skip one (via publically joined games or what have you, it is possible) Looks like you got a key though on your first run!
What exactly version of Demonbuddy and Trinity are you using ? I'm trying to use this, but without succes...
I haven't tested on the latest BETA/Trinity, but it was working just fine on Trinity 18, DB Beta 140. Should work on the latest as well. What precisely are you having issues with?
I find when there is a conflict and something is not working its best to make a separate db install for the profile you are running. My desktop has three db folders or installs. One for keyfarm. One for act 3 farm and one for questing act 1-4 all difficulties. I know its probably not nessary but everytime someone changes something with trinity or db or a profile everything just stops working on me. So this way I can run one profile and try to fix the other install. It should be as simple as extracting over the previous files. But whenever I do it all goes to pot.. this saves me some headache pills even if it is a little extra work, ,addto that most profiles request that you use a fresh install anyway. Once I have it working the way i like it I dont bother updating unless it's really worth it.
Awesome profile! Does exactly what it's meant to and efficiently. Although there is a better way to farm keys than getting stacks first and then going after warden. It's way faster to look for the warden first. For example Act 1: Find warden If still missing stacks -> Town Portal WP to Festering woods get stacks -> RUN to WP and WP to leorics to get last stack if needed Take portal from town to warden, kill Basically the idea is to make use of the stacks you get while looking for warden. For example in a2 it's not uncommon to find all 5 in Oasis. Then all you need to do is get the rest of the stacks from zones where you can stay fairly close WP. Such as festering woods, black canyon mines and tower of the damned 1. Is there a chance you could make such a version of this profile ? Or does such profile already exist and I just haven't been able to come by it ?
I couldn't agree more. I did this when I manually did warden hunts. The problem is getting away from the warden once you found him. Sometimes you might get lucky and be able to warp before he gets you, but most of the time when you encounter him, you're immediately drawn into battle. Back a few months ago I'd say this couldn't be done but with updates to Trinity it's conceivable I could get something like this to work. Might be a bit though as the new patch hits and I have to review all my existing profiles to ensure integrity.
Now that 1.07 is out getting stacks of NPV will only be important in one act. I assume the increased experience and decreased grinding time is going to make for some potent botting.
I havent tested it yet, but I may have been mistaken. NPV does stay when completing quests that lead to the next act but I havent checked if it stays upon game completion and re-entering a new act after going to the main menu screen.
welp, we will find out soon enough I never bothered with PTR and I don't feel like manually killing 5 elites and starting a new game
Hi and sorry if this is answered somewhere, but I dont understand how to set up something like this when it involves multiple xmls...I have tried using the loader or loading the first xml in the folder...but it never works. Thanks for any help
NV5 does NOT persist when you start a new game...so unfortunately we'll still have to gather NV5 every time. Must only persist going from act to act as a full game play through.
