Thanks...currently comparing keeps 2 versions. I think rrrix's latest parameters are working much nicer than they originally where. Since we aren't specifically looking for the entrance to level 3, it is a viable option. I was only able to run a quick 20 minutes on the random explore, but it did a good job and had very little backtracking. Current running mine and will let it run for a few hours and then run the random. Not sure if Crater 2 will be as forgiving but we'll see. I'll focus on keeps first and see what happens. I know rrrix's has made some improvements so perhaps I can return to a full explore if the backtracking is minimized. It still won't be super thorough, but more thorough than my hunt for the exit.
I'm no expert, but have you considered Gardetto's approach? Seems like a pretty darn smart way to find a path with close to 0 dead ends:
I actually did awhile ago, and it was the inspiration for how it works now. I'm sure Gardettos has updated his profile...it looks private now so I can't see what changes he's done. Originally there was a lot of code and Keeps 2 was a full explore, only Crater 2 and Keeps 3 was manually plotted. Also, you can't pre-cache Keeps 2 exit without doing Keeps Level 3, so that won't work for my stuff (and isn't necessary). It's a bit of bouncing around between portals just to do the maps, and from the sounds of it there was still an occasional stuck here and there anyway. Maybe it's all fixed up, dunno. Can't test personally That said, I don't pre-cache any exits and really don't have any issues finding exits and do so quite quickly. Been running my Keeps 2 for this comparison now for nearly 2 hours now, 34 back-to-back runs, no inactivity trips. You will get stuck here and there, but it finds it's way out. Long term, this had been the best solution. Hence why I am doing another test to compare my version to a general explore/clear. The general/explore should eliminate stucks entirely, but at the time it was still slower and less efficient. Maybe it has changed now though. I'll know by tomorrow and will provide comparison stats. If the random explore wins, I'll put my foot in my mouth, pat Xenetron on the back, and update the profiles. I've got no problem being wrong and making the best profile I can with community help....and as always, profiles open to the public to do whatever with.
OK so rrrix has made great strides with the Trinity Explore with the past few patches (yay!). I definitely don't recall it performing as well as it did tonight. With that said, I ran both versions for about 3 hours a piece. 600k gph with mine, 615k random. The random version the stats had dropped from about 645k gph and was falling, but I imagine it would plateau around 600k ish but that's still good because we don't have the weird stucks and we get to kill more monsters. So I think I will migrate Keeps 2 over after I run some tests with the code inside the main profile. Currently doing a Crater 2 test now. Bot runs FAR better with the improved Trinity Explore just from the first few runs. That map in particular it used to fall apart on. So far, I think I'm going to be eating my words! Hats off to Xenetron!
Magi - it depends what you class as better the simple fact is, that the mobs in k2 have the highest drop chance in the game of "white items" - or legendaries, if we're talking about luck. Whilst it will be very hard to determine based on only a few hours, I can tell you that currently all the top end-geared characters farm mp10 keep depths 2 ONLY. I currently sit on 450k dps with archon, I farmed my way to paragon 100 from about 93 a few weeks ago using your profile, and I was averaging around 50m xp an hour and 900 items per hour. Since i've discovered this method of farming keep depths 2 COMPLETELY, I've been doing that with a friend on mp10, and a bad hour was giving me ~3-5 legendaries. Now, I don't think the bot can handle mp10, as it has it's errors every now and then with champion affixes and what not, so the next best thing would be to add it in to your profile I thank you for the links and I should give it a shot. Ah and before you mess around with A2, decide if it's worth it, as that place is actually pretty bad for loot, but amazing for XP. The reason being is that 80percent of the mobs are spiders (large packs of them albeit) - which give really high xp, but have a very low drop chance for an "extra white item" - and something like 0.00001% for a legendary. Just go try it out and farm some spiders Thank you Magi this is awesome

I can attest to legend drops in Keeps 2...I found running Keeps 2 indefinitely I was getting far more legend drops than VotA ever did. very nice profile! tested all of them, occasional stucks but mostly good, getting 500kgph or even 600k+ sometimes if you can trust the DB g/h counter, tough i calculated it manually aswell and seemed to be about right 375 % GF (valors included) Paragon 33 at the moment 80k dps whirlwind barb 34k health 500-600ar

@Magi - I've just tried this and I really think it's better already after the first few games. However, on the 3rd game, I got stuck for about 2 minutes in AC2. If I copy the A2 code from v2.0 into v2.1, will that remove the explore random part? Also, am I able to copy the piece of code for Skycrown battlments from say, Ultimate Skyhigh Extended and add it into your profile, will that work?
Yup that will remove the random crater 2 part. Also, you can add skycrown as well. If you put it on the end, you can just have it follow after Keeps 2 and it should be pretty much plug'n'play

What's the piece of code to be added that logs you out after, say 2 deaths? Or well, not logs out, just leaves and starts a new game? Anyone know?

trying it now, thank you, i believe this could be the best for loot. btw, how are people getting on with teh keeps 2 only runs? I'm having insane success with it, 1100-1200 items dropped/hr, 3-5 legendaries, farming on mp5 as archon wiz.
