Rise of the Defiler acted a little strange when I mapped it initially so I guess it failed, I will ensure it is remapped and released within the next day or two at the most. Also in the update I will attempt adjust all the towns, both horde and alliance, so that we see less combat loops. As indicated in the first line this will take between one and two days to complete as the offending areas will be remapped completely in order to force new paths and such.
Ok, decided to edit the Blasted Lands and Darkshire issues whilst I had a small amount of free time as after thinking about them I decided they were too important to wait on.
Not so useful to myself as I'm practically babysitting this thing, but I will endevour to relay any additional feedback to you about missed spots or user intervention spots Might also be interested to know that you can simply load profile 2 after profile 1 is done and it gets there perfectly Edit: Just got stuck in Southshore, Hillsbrad. (combat cycle with guards again) Edit2: Quel'danil Lodge failed to discover in The Hinterlands. Stopping for tonight, will continue tomorrow.
Ok good news! I managed to free up today and get the adjustments completed. Hillsbrad Foothills has had its hotspots adjusted to only allow for minimum interaction with Southshore. The Hinterlands has had a complete overhaul as well to ensure it grabs all points required for the zone exploration achievement. Dun Morogh has had some small adjustments to fix some stuck issues. Part1 and Part2 have now been merged into a single profile (been playing WoW since vanilla and I never knew about the run from Searing Gorge into the Badlands so thank you zorgonatis).
Awesome profile - thanks so much! With the Eastern Kingdoms, I never could get my character to Dun Murogh - he instead headed back to SV and started the loop over again... Flew him to DM, deleted the previously done sections in the profile and no issues after that. Will be starting on Kalindor probably tomorrow (Monday) and will let you know how that goes. Random thought: When I'm watching, sometimes I'll stop HB so the toon can mount then hit start again - sometimes it continues the correct path, sometimes it starts going backwards - is this an HB thing - and is there any way to control it?
Hmmpf, I ran the profile myself on a fresh 80 and he took the path into Badlands. Did the profile you use have 3 parts or just 2 for Eastern Kingdoms?
There you go, that is pretty much all you need. Also, if you get the same problem where after it explores Searing Gorge it goes back to STV let me know please
Nice work. Am running Kalimdor as Horde. Completed all of Darkshore and all almost all of Ashenvale perfectly. In Ashenvale, it missed Howling Vale. I was watching and it went to the cave entrance, but didnt go inside the cave far enough to receive credit. Props to you for the comments in profile also. I had stopped HB to manually discover Howling Vale. I didn't realize until restarting HB that it would turn around and start running back to Darkshore with the first Hot spot listed. With your comments in the file, I was able to easily comment out the hot spots just for Darkshore and Ashenvale which were completed and have it turn back around and continue with Felwood. Thanks again for the great profile work.
Get an error when I run Eastern Kingdoms part1 Am I doing something wrong? Loaded HB2 up, clicked "Levelbot" "loaded profile" and then hit "start"
I am using whatever you can download from the download page, which I will assume is HB2? Unless I am supposed to download HB from another location once I paid for it, which I may have missed.
Two things.... if unknown tag for GrindArea comes up, then your not running HB2... Second thing, don't copy/paste/embed a log file in a post. Works better if you attach it. Use Go Advanced and then click Manage Attachments.
Thanks for the input bobby53! I will put out a new version to fix the Howling Vale for all those who plan to use this in the future, expect it to appear over this weekend at some point. Affiniti - As already stated you need HB2 to run these profiles, clearly indicated in the original post.
Started this on my 80 Alliance Paladin in Eastern Kingdoms. Am excited to see how well it works! Will post back my results as well. Stranglethorn Vale: Got all of it beautifully Darkshire: Same Deadwind Pass: Had a death here... not sure of coords, but a picture is attached (perhaps you can tell which hotspot I was coming from and to by the parts I have discovered and what I have not. I am going to create a new profile and get rid of the STV / DS / Deadwind (I will jsut get the last two parts of DW myself) hotspots so I don't have to start all over again. Swamp of Sorrows: Got all of it wonderfully, although after exploring Stagalbog it wanted to swim through the HUGE lake in the middle of the zone, which slowed me down. Also, As an Alliance it took me right through the middle of Stonard (which isn't truly an issue either if you are level 80). Blasted Lands: Worked perfectly. Elwynn Forest: Had most of it already explored, but it went smoothly. Redridge Mountains: Went smoothly as well. Burning Steppes: Done. Searing Gorge: Done. Dun Morogh and Noob Dwarf Zone: Check. Loch Modan: Done. Badlands: Done. Wetlands: No issues. All of Part 1 Complete: Only issue I had was on its way to Western Plaguelands it ran through that small outpost in Tirisfal Glades outside of UC, which aggroed 2-3 level 75 mobs. Part 2 of Eastern Kingdoms: Everything got explored! Although I feel like as an alliance the hotspot for Silvermoon is really far in there, but like you said you need a 70 yard "comfort zone" for each hotspot. Had one death there, but otherwise flawless! SUCCESS Oh and kinda offtopic, but I have a SUPERB idea for you if you want a challenge . Rip the code from eTrain that makes the character interact with the trainer, but instead implement it in this profile to interact with each flightmaster. That way your character picks up each FP on the way. That would be AMAZING.
Don't worry, I check my profiles posts daily so I will be able to watch the updates. I will take a look at the Stonard issue because it was suppose to be blacklisted to some extent so I am not sure why goes through.
