[Act1] Quest 9 - Warrior's Rest (MF Farm)

Yeah, quest 6 works fine. And no problems with checkpoint in town. I don't know why it is suggested to pick quest 9 in the topic name, really. It saves like a minute for the setup, but adds all this trouble with the checkpoints.

Anyone using something like GilesItemStats with this profile? I would like to know the average rare 61+ yield of this profile with ~150ish MF. I've been running this for around 4-5 days but failed to record the statistics and now I am testing out another profile (champion hunting), but it seems to bring in WAY less items (even though it is probably safer).

 

I'm going to install that plugin right now and see what my distribution looks like. I've been running Champ-hunting for the past couple of days with moderate success. However, I've been running this Warrior's Rest farm for about 4 hours now and it seems MUCH better. I'm sitting at 210% MF with my Barb, he just runs in there and nukes everything with Berserker and and Earthquake. Averaging 58 runs per hour

With Champion hunting I average out something like 11-14 rare 61+ items an hour with 4 runs per hour (140 MF w/o NV). With this profile I remember having 60 runs per hour on average and seems to me the numbers on rares were at least 2 times what I see with champion hunting.

 

im comparism to a1 champion farm, the best thing farming here is if there's an arcane pack and the bot got killed, u won't say O FML O MY 5 NV!, since nv doesn't matter here...
on the other hand, 3 of my bots got banned on 19.7 while running this profile... so there's higher risk since around 60 game reset is already relative unnatural...

 

I am using a level 18 warlock pretty well geared. Not too shabby...

 

Using this at 13 with my Barb, seems good. Not using unstucker (think I should be good with this version of DB) cheers mate I'll drop you a coin once I'm 20.

 

I wouldn't run this 24/7 but this is pretty good compared to champion hunting when you have some mf.

 

I've been running this for the past week about 20 hours a day. Made probably around 300-350m so far as a Barb with 250% MF. Now that the game-limits are enabled though, I'm headed back to champ farming.

 

Hi, did u guys encounter the max number of games u can created? It seems I run it too fast or ? Is there any way to bypass this? Thanks!

 

What is your game delay?

 

game w8 time? like 10-15secs? thats not enough?

 

way too little, try double that and then some

 

I think you should be looking for NO MORE than 20-25 games/hr, to stay safe, even that seems a little high to me

 

Successfully ran this overnight with 45 - 60 second wait time. It was about 33 games/hr.
