I have 4 accounts attached to same battle.net account. All 4 have been banned at one point in time, I have all 4 back now. I, PERSONALLY, have never had an issue with having ative accounts, and having one banned from same battle.net account.
I haven't read about an IP ban any time recently. Can't tell you for sure that it won't happen, but I bot about 20 hours a day across my different accounts on the same computer as my main without an SVn and have zero concern about it. And it would be a fairly major privacy violation if they were to use your private, encrypted credit card information to hunt down your main account if your bot account is banned. Bottom line is, chill out, don't bot like an idiot, switch to prepaid cards or something if it makes you feel better.
I have personally read and heard many GMs use the line, "We will ban an account. We will never ban a player."
The people who is grinding next to you is botters, like you no gm would walk beside you and look at you, they would teleport you somewhere and look at your behavior... ive tried it and that was when i was botting 24/7... dont worry about it
thanks everyone! today I logged in and went to my farming spot and it was full of people. certainly for klaxy dailies... now I can't farm there anymore cause it's too risky. it was weird cause I was botting in the same place for 3 days and then suddenly a lot of people is questing at the same place lol
i bot 18-24 hours a day, but im lucky.. you are not, so never bot again. anyway.. OT: bot smart, dont get greedy, and all will be alright.
Some of us play on our mains while botting accounts in the background. I know I do. I also bot while working on my dissertation and things.
First of all, gms can't be seen, so that ain't a possibility. Second: i've been botting for about a month everyday for abour 16hrs with 3 bots, still not a single ban. about 0.00001% of the botter actually gets banned, and those bans are for 3 hrs. And even more is that they get banned for trading large sums of gold, not for actually farming. EDIT: if you're so paranoid that you can't even run it while watching, then botting ain't your thing really.
