what rotation? if you guys want me to add shit, just tell me, but dont ask me to implement shit and only write 1 line. if you think what feature your requesting is going to take 30 lines of code to do, then write 15 or even 10 lines explaining what you want. thats the LEAST you could do.
CodenameG thank you so much for fixing the arcane spec on this one. I have been using it for frost then tried it for arcane spec and it wouldnt work. This fix came out soon after and works wonders. Thanks!!
Hi cng, im using your profile in bgs, and its not great, just wondering if you could add some pvp support (sorry if this has already bin asked, didnt scout back 35 pages lol), ie sometimes it just doesnt target players even after being attacked, if its attacking a player, when that player moves out of range it will stand still until its out of combat then mount up and go again, and also, when it uses deepfreeze is there anyway for it to use ice lance after for the insane damage it does? thanks
i was running it in EOTS and had no issues, in fact the re-target code i worked actually helped since it would re-target another player as soon as the first was dead. the only thing i can really say is make sure your using the latest version.
hmm I am, i know its definetly not using ice lance after deepfreeze, would there be anyway to make it use my elementals frost nova if the target is in a certain range and mine is on cooldown? ie, a warrior is attacking me, i use frostnova / he trinkets it, my pet freezes then blink away? another thing, might be hbs fault, when hexed / polymorphed its not using trinkets / every man for himself to get out of it.
I've been using HB and GB as a liftime user for a long time and this CC is by far one of the best Ive used for any class, so Bravo CG. I thought I would chime in since we have a "stable" HB now and someone just mentioned a behavior I have also noticed. After a Deep freeze is cast, the majority of the time one lance follows and then he goes into a frost bolt rotation. If the deep freeze sticks its obviously better to just spam lance a few times. It would be great to see this behavior addressed...as this would really kick up the dps in BGs. Other then this one particular behavior, I could not complain about anything else really without getting uber picky. This CC on the whole Rocks!
Thanks a lot for this custom class. Trying it out, and it works well. However, my mage often blinks on times when it's really not necessary, like when there's only 1 mob and with 10% hp left. Sometimes it even blinks when the mob is dead. Is it possible to alter some settings for blink, like only blink when adds or when mob's HP > 30%, like you did with other spells? Also, blink still looks pretty robotic to me. My blink does face away, cast blink, and then turn 180 degrees again. Is this intended? I've checked the changelog, and @ 1.5.0 it says it shouldn't face away anymore and then blink. One last thing, is it possible to reduce the pause between spells by a bit? It now casts, waits a sec, then casts the next spell. I don't know if that's something from HB or from this CC, but I thought I could ask here. All in all, thanks for the great efforts you have put in this custom class, and I can only hope you continue developing it
the code for frost nova, is setup for dont do it if the mob is over %10 health, so theres a chance specialy when you get into the higher levels for that to happen. idk, maybe ill add some setting for it, and that should fix it. yes the mage, faces away from the target, blinks in the direction that it came in, then faces the mob again to continue casting. thats the ONLY way to get the blink away to work. if i had it blink though the mob theres more of a chance you would blink into a pack of gnolls or koboilds so its assumed that the direction you came in is safe. thats why it turns around and blinks away. as far as it looking robotic, it still looks 100 times better then strife jumping or back peddling. the CC should be chain casting, ive never really had any problems with it, but then again im running a pheneom x4. also spells like IceLance, maybe instant cast, but they trigger a global cooldown, while that global cooldown is going on it cant do anything else. so pay more attention because chances are thats what your seeing, so everytime a spell is able to cast it should be hitting it pretty fast.
Arcane Spec is broken It doesnt cast arcane barrage whatso ever Please Fix it >< I think arcane barrage shud be casted on CD for fastest leveling and lowest mana cost as well
works how he designed it for in arcane spec for me on a test dummy. Its not optimal but works as it was designed for.
It would be nice to be able to turn off blink. In some areas it will blink right in to a new mob. It will make you "inchworm" your way through the area untill you have too many adds and die. I like the blink usage and in most areas its great, I would just like to be able to turn it off in areas... I wonder if the profile can send messages to the CC? Would be nice to be able to affect CC behavior base on area.
what do you want it to do instead? teleport to stormwind? ether way your going to run back in to the same mobs your going to blink into. part of botting a mage is finding area's where the mobs are spread apart, the Class itself needs room to spread out. if your constantly running into mobs, think about botting in another area.
I dont want it to do anything, with the cata gear the need to avoid close combat lessens quite a lot. Now i have two versions of the cc, one that i have commented out the code in for close quater grinding and one that is as you wrote it for normal grind/ pvp. Just thought it would be nice with the option to turn it of from the settings. The cc work great with my frost mage, so good infact that the ONLY times he dies is when there are "blink chain pull" incidents. ;-) BTW. The mage is 85 with pvp/drop loot mix gear. I swear that cloth is kevlar.
I should prolly have mentioned, This is for when i run mr.Autofight for lazy questing. (have been using your cc from lvl 60 to lvl 85)
the CC works fine in bg's but using polymorph is just too long of a cast time for something that can be broken so easily. or counter spelled or dispelled or trinket-ed. ive never been in a bg where people respected mage sheep's. as far as ring of frost, its just way to situational to use, for very little benefit. that's the only reason its not coded.
I cant wait till av weekend im going to have my 80 mage running this in mixed. Quick question though should i spec arcane into certain things or optimum use of the bot? -ty in advance
