lol i know, but I'm pretty much an intern. Mostly cleaning and busy work. But we should try and get back on topic :D

does anyone sell accounts anymore? doesn't seem to be worth it from what they're going for at accounts.net and whatnot

My dad is a nurse, he makes $70,000/year. Making a living off of botting in this economy is a big risk. It is like becoming a chef, you make it big or you don't make it at all and end up at a local restaurant paying you $15/hour after thousands of dollars in school/

it depends where you work and how much you pay out for living.

ie: i lived in a place where all bills paid duplex (1200 sq. ft. 2-story + garage) was $500/month on a good side of town in a low pop town. I had to pay for my cell and cable/net, thats it. i made ~$2500/month working 30 hours a week (or more, based on commission from Sears - commuted 15 miles down the road)

some people i know in bigger towns make lets just say $2000/month working 40 hours a week, paying $700 just for rent, $50 for water, $100-150 for electricity (+gas if you have gas) + cable/net

      so city gross 2000 - 700rent - 300 (util/net/etc) = 1000 spending (+car + ins +food, etc)
      vs small town 2500 - 500 -80(net)= 1920$ spending

so remember, you may make 11.xx an hour, but how much are you (or if you're living at home - how much would you if you weren't supported) spending on "living expenses" where you live?

take into acct how much money you have left over AFTER you spend your money on bills. Granted i drove an extra 7-10 miles than some people, but I would also hang out with ppl, go shopping, etc. only working 30 hours a week and kicking $600-700 a week is decent money for a college youth =)

i worked 6 hours on friday, 12 on sat/sun. sometimes i would work a little more... but i was doing college during the week.

Nurses do make really good money, after a bit of time. My mom has been a nurse for 20+ years, and is making 75k a year after taxes. Yes, this is in USD.

I'm a little offended by this thread. In real life, I am a bot.

Hahahaha nice thread. Especially the Al Capone story. Never pay taxes is our LAw in Sicily.
http://www.offshoresimple.com/ppa.htm buy here your offshore company or an similar site that offers offshore companys. Ask them for an creditcard too so you can localy cash money from an ATM machine or BankContact in europe.
Never pay taxes when it isnt neccesary.

Example an offshore company in Panama will never pay for taxes on money that you earned over internet.
It isnt on Panama terretory. So this money isnt black but tax free.

It is possible to bot for a living, depending on your ingame earnings, the gold stock and prices.

      Example:

1 Account of Level 80, that farms Fel Iron Ores and Adamantite Ores, will make about 6500gold/day . That's 195.000 gold/month. Chinese pages buys gold for around 3$ pr 1000g. that's 585$ month on each accounts.

Let's say like me, running 6 accounts, That is 3510$ month, more than enough for a student .

The more accounts, the more money.

Hmm..You bot in OL rather than NR? Do you earn more money mining Adamanite and Fel Iron Ore than Saronite and Titanium ?

I bot all ores in game mostly, to have a more vary sale. Mithril/Thorium on 1 acc, Fel Iron Ore/Adamantite Ores on 1 acc, Cobalt on 1 acc and Saronite/Titanium on 1.
Fel iron and Adamantite goes for 65g/stack on my server.
Thorium and Mithril goes for 70-100g/stack on my server.
Cobalt goes for 30g/stack on my server.
Saronite goes for 40g/stack on my server.
Titanium goes for 400g/stack on my server.

at first not i think, but when you get like really big (10+ accounts) and have a few spare lvl 80's for when your farmer acc get banned, then you can make a pretty good living out of it imo.
but if you are just starting out... no i doubt it :p
