Arcana - Lazyraider/Raidbot Arcane Mage CC

As zardoz1 stated on his comment below its a game-bug. New version (2.1.2) is now supporting Incanter's ward, which is a viable option for the encounters that you get frequent damage.
Spec into Incanter's Ward, and dont forget to check Class Config if its enabled (enabled by default).
Talent changes NEED to restart HB.

That PTR change is just sad, blizz destroyed all the variety of playstyles, removed hybrid specs.
On a DPS perspective, it wont hurt much, scorch weaving is only a slight increase on single target fights. Next version will have option to select between these two playstyles.

mmh the burst phase seem to work fine with this CC, but when my mage goes down to 80% mana or less, it won't cast arcane barrage to destack. It just rotates with arcane blast and arcane missiles.

I checked the configuration, and if i check arcane barrage at min stack 6 it goes up to 6 stacks and automatically casts arcane barrage so this is far from being optimal ...

I think I meet all the requirements mentionned on the OP. If I missed something just tell me lol

Really good CC now that I put the right talents lol

It could be better if it handled alter time better. It should wait to have 2 missiles proc to use alter time + arcane power imo.

Thank you for trying Arcana, I'm glad you are pleased with the damage.
I've added engineering gloves on the latest release(2.1.3). Also improved cooldown usage, thus higher dps.

Its good you found the right path.
New version has improved alter time usage, rather than delaying cooldown to wait for double stacks, its checking the cooldown and get ready before cooldowns expire.

Strange error on start up

I was getting the previous error as well. Not sure what I did to fix it (turning AoE off? I dunno).

It's also never using Arcane Missile for me. It just spams Arcane Blast/Scorch @ 6 stacks.

 

Clear contents of your "CompiledAssemblies" folder.

Using newest Honorbuddy and downloaded the correct Arcana (2.1.3). Still getting the key error even after clearing cache and compiled assemblies. Tried using Tyrael and Raidbot.

EDIT: I figured it out. The bot won't start until you try to use a macro as listed in the OP, like this:

#showtooltip Blink 
/script SpellName="Blink"; 
/script MultiCastMT=2; 

If you try to use the macro, nothing will happen (because the bot isn't running) but then you'll be able to start the bot (and then the macro will kick in) and you'll be good to go.

EDIT: This newest version still refuses to cast Arcane Missile for me though. It just casts Arcane Blast, Mage Bomb, RoP, and Scorch.

 

Having the same problem since last patch, need to use blink macro so that the CC can start. But now the burst phase is really good.

Another thing, it doesn't seem to use the mana gem very often. Is it on purpose? (I believe the more it uses the mana gem the more he can cast AB without scorch weaving)

 

Mana Gem usage improvement would be awesome!

ilvl 471 avg 76k dps without pots and flask *like*

 

Overall DPS on MV LFR 2nd part was 73k DPS at 480 ilvl

-System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Issue is fixed.
-Engineering tinkers method, was there just forgot to put it in rotation. Fixed now (2.1.4)

About Mana Gem Usage;
Asking to improve that doesn't really help. Please explain the proper way to use it and why.

I also need advice on AoE rotation, When I try cleaving dummies I never get meaningful higher dps. tab-targeting to maintain DoT and using normal rotation is giving me the best dps.
If you are achieving significant dps boost on AoE please explain me how you do it, so I can code

@Endus, Please delete Arcana-Settings folder in your "Settings" folder. If this doesnt work, check your cooldown settings. Try with different cooldown settings and please report me the results so I can fix it.
It should and is working ok for me. But I suspect it's something about the cooldown setting.

if u manually polymorph ur focus it still trys to cast ur rotation

polymorph should be manually castable on focus
