ArchaeologyBuddy - An Archaeology Bot

I only have 1.1.0.108 and ArchBuddy doesn't appear in the list of bots, it would appear the download for x.136 isn't up either.

running HB 3095.

 

I must say well done here. One small question though...I can't seem to blacklist the Grim Batol digsite, and get absolutely pounded by mobs there. Is there a way to do this, or after you finish the zone are they phased? I can't imagine any class/bot that can handle 4-6 adds at once.

 

Bot zoned into Zul Farrak last night, other than that it ran smooth before then.

Can there be a check added so it doesnt enter instances?

Yeah all working fine for me. I did have a bit of an issue in Uldum today; I had 3 sites spawn there and it only collected two, but that was it. Had it running all day too. I'm only in Kalimdor if it helps

 

I had the same problem with it just stopping short of the area. Read in the forum before your post and someone said to change Enable dismount in flight button to the on position in your in game interface, works fine now. Just thought you would like to know i have been fighting that problem for days now.

 

When the bot get to the searing gorge digsite it doesn't want to dismount it just sits hovering above until the bot times out.

 

next time i bot it i'll get a log. pc specs are P4 2.8GHz, ATI radeon x1300PRO 256mb, 3.5gig ram, winXP service pack 3

-yes only with archbuddy. skinning profile works perfect as does lvl'ing. also no problems w/ GB
- yes WoW is and has always been window'd
-not sure what directx i currently have.
-english client
-might possibly be heavy cpu load, but that seems like it would bog down the other HB or AB profiles i use. Also would effect AB when in other zones. not just on zones that have 2 dig sites.
-like i said i have DL'd multiple HB's 3895, 3804, 3881, and yes i reDL'd 3895 thinking maybe i could get AB .108 since u cant just get .108 by itself, but low and behold i got this 136 that isnt even on the thread of updates.
-this will be my 3rd character iv used archbuddy on. first was pally 2nd was DK this one is hunter. (damn zin'rokh wont drop)

i have always had auto dismount on....for a long time, way before HB or AB was even a thought.

Yes, multiple people in this thread have stated that they've managed to get it. It is an ultra rare chance (seems to be about a half of a percent at best) to get. But due to it being *random* some people get it in tens of combines, others have to get a few hundred.

 

Got it around 240. Currently around 270 dwarf solves without the staff.

 

starting arch on my 3rd char now (since i prefer to just bypass the whole TH spawns) that and troll is 10% more drop chance below 450. and my first char has 135 troll solves and DK has 117 troll solves. still no sword.

 

Got the sword with ~310 solves, so keep cool

 

231 dwarf artifacts, no staff yet.

280 troll artifacts, no sword yet.

But I got the feeling that this night is gonna be the night for me

Blacklisted digsites are still being used. I've only seen this twice, but as the log shows it is clearly using a blacklisted digsite.

EDIT: And it is not even the closest digsite, infact, its the furtherest away.

 

found a minor glitch last night.. if the bot surveys and the fragment shows up, then the bot gets into combat BEFORE he digs the fragment, he will just fly away without collecting the fragment.. not really a big deal, as he just goes to the next site and continues on.. just loose out on the 1 fragment collection...

anyone figured out yet why it stops short of digsites and hangs up?

 

Just a FYI and I'm pretty sure it's the mesh and not the bot, but it's terrible flying between zones in Outlands. Dies flying between almost any time it goes into the vortex.

ya seen the bug with combat and and the artfeact showing up he wont loot it and blacklist isnt really working i blacklisted TW and it still goes there
