ArchaeologyBuddy - An Archaeology Bot

Bots clears a digsite fine, but then will sit forever "loading tiles". I have to manually mount, and then it will fly ot next digsite and do the same.

I had this too on some dig sites, I went back a version and it was fine. Seemed to happen when he was hovering just off the ground.

 

I have read through a lot of these posts and lots of poeople are complaingin about the bot flying straight up over the ocean but no one seems to have an answer. It's not AFK'able as long as this bug is there, could someone please address. Lots of examples through this thread so far.

 

If my char flys back from the island near Desolace he loops on the border between island and continent.

 

Doubtfull. Theres not much reason to post in the honorbuddy forum should i get banned for a speedhack...

My guess is that the reason the toons start flying upwards is due to the Fatigue bar that appears, i think the bot assumes this is breathing bar and tries swimming upwards to get to air etc. What do you think? Anyone, what so ever?

 

Working fine in Kalimdor but in Outlands it just sucks.
Doesn't even use flying mount to get to the next spot like it does in Kalimdor. Also my toon stands still after searching for some seconds then randomly turns around and searches at the same spot again with the result of not finding anything at all.
Went back to Kalimdor, works perfectly fine. :/

 

Mine seems to get stuck between Felwood - Hyjal border and Durotar - Northern barrens border

Just keeps moving and turning around like a circle until i help it, Nothing shows in the logs

Other than that no big issues, I take my hat off to the mods on this one keep up the good work

 

.4075 works beautifully in Outlands without a problem - afk'ed for a couple days just last weekend. Try it and if you still have a problem then it is an addon you have installed that does something in Outland.

 

get stuck south durotar on water

hey guys i think someone else posted this but the bot gets stuck at south durotar and east north barrens. Its right on the water as you go into fatigue for couple secs. The bot just does circles the whole time. I tried 5 different CC and same thing over that spot. It doesn't post anything in the log or the debugger.

 

My thoughts on the getting stuck ( flying in circles at maximum height ) is that blizzard didnt make the sky as high as outlands / northrend / cata zones. HB see's an incoming mountain that will be in the way and tries to get higher than the mountain allowing a path to get to the next digsite, getting it stuck trying to get higher (and the sky doesnt allow for that). Possible?

 

Seeing as there is lots of people experiencing the same issue it would be nice to get some feed back on this as i paid for lifetime solely for this so i could leave it when im in work, to find it spent 7 hours flying into the same spot in the sky is more than a little frustrating to say the least. A simple we are looking into it would stop me running to the refund thread.

bot gets stuck inside the house at this dig site. any way to have bot climb up into air when it first mounts and then go foreward? like a height modifier?

 

Just found out that this is only the case at both Auchindoun spots. The east one was blacklisted, had to manually blacklist the west one because the bot acted like it didn't knew what i was supposed to do there...

I feel this exact same way. Everyday that I check this thread, and I see no response, I consider getting a refund. WTB more response from the devs, or an open source plugin.

 

Don't worry, it will only be soon that we will start to have to pay for a response.

 

Both these sites worked beautifully for me with .4075

 

Why not simply use the place actually dedicated to report bugs instead of qq'ing in this thread. If you look at the bugtracker you can see that this and alot of others have been filed already (by users that contribute instead of whining), and the developer has acknowledged that this will be fixed in the next release.

 

While what you say is true... people clearly come to THIS thread looking for help, or to report bugs, for this plugin. They are not looking to report bugs with HonorBuddy itself. Perhaps this is a bit misleading as the first post in this thread:

It could be updated to reflect a proper channel for reporting issues.
