Or to tell you guys that you aren't REALLY entitled to know anything about development of a new bot, and that when it comes out, it comes out.

That is kind of a common theme I keep seeing across forums dealing with bots and hacks and the like... Huge cases of entitlement issues and demands.

If there's money involve, to a certain extent; it does entitle people to something.

Last I check, people are willing to pay for this.

I guess. They havnt paid for it yet though, and alternatives were presented. I just went and ended up getting a membership to pitvipers bot, and it works quite well. Basically just a macro rotation/waypoint bot. Its pretty simple, but he us improving it quite a bit every week. Supports all classes.
Having an active subscription to WoW doesnt entitle you or give you an edge into knowing when or if a new product will be released from Blizzard.

My comment was more directed at more immature people who have instant gratification problems and feel like they are entitled to special treatment from a company that serves tons of other games and has requests constantly for new games.

I agree it would be highly profitable for them to make a bot for this game. The issue i sse is the game will completely collapse and the market will be saturated with too much stuff, it wont even be profitable to grind mats and market them. So much stuff will be on the market at super low prices that anyone who even puts it up will have to pay such a high overflow tax that you will LOSE gold and it will cause the market to crash and a majority of people will leave.

      Just my two cents though...

I fully support bots in games, but on this one circumstance, i foresee it completely destroying the player base and crashing the market. There arent enough actual people vs people who would be botting. Currently the market is ALREADY flooded with so much crap that prices are less than 20% of what they were in the first few weeks. Professions are basically only profitable to you, because market prices for most things have dropped to less than the cost of making them.

      1) It's a technique to kill off competing gold farming competitors. (Lower prices until your competitors exit the market, then raise prices up again).
      2) It's also a form of gold-laundering to bypass the automated ban-flags of selling too much quantity of a commodity (especially the raw ingredients, so you might as well just craft the final product and sell it below cost price, as long as it's above zero).
      3) It creates the urge to spend more gold and thus buy more gold.
      4) Rich get richer. The "poor and destitute" will leave. Rich Whales players will still continue paying to keep up with the competition.

This game is Diablo 3 all over again but grindier, more RNG, more cut-throat, more competitive, without the RMAH but with the trading and RMT.

Even bots need to gear up. Several bots are even more geared than the average F2P player.

The upcoming content update promises this legendary reward (requires at least 4 grouped bots to farm) which costs 5,000g when bought on AH and takes 12,000g to upgrade. (1g is at $0.38 now)

Thats kind of misleading, seeing as how they just posted saying that NA isn't getting legendary weapons until the second patch coming out in over a month.

WL being released on the 2nd of march, and new content isnt coming out until a month or two after that. They have no specific release date on the legendary weapons.

Reason being is that most NA players are super casual. Hence why the bots are dominating and crashing the market. Most NA players aren't used to the constant grind of a typical Korean mmo and would complain about it becoming to grindy and p2w.

Reason bots are more geared than the average F2P player is because they ARE BOTS, not normal people with a normal sleep/work/free time schedule. They run 10 hour days and farm 7 days a week. Not to mention they are more efficient, and don't forget a quest here, or a specific dungeon there.

Also, gold prices have actually gone UP in the past week from sellers. They dropped to $0.35 for a bit, and currently are sitting at $0.39.

Well, NCSoft is constantly flip-flopping over announcements and decisions such as:

      1) Claiming that there will be zero RNG and P2W boxes in Cash Shop BUT yet releasing a "Limited Edition Costume RNG Box" with chances to drop Soulstones and Moonwater Transformation stones.

      2) Claiming that the Summoner's Cat Taunt Reduction was a bug when IN FACT it was a documented nerf in Korea.

NCSoft streamers are reading from pre-prepped scripts and the people writing the scripts don't bother or can't read/translate well from the Korea content base. America/EU server is directly copying most of the Korean content. Cutting selected stuff out leads to bugged issues.

That is exactly what they have been doing from the start though... They are censoring the game to tailor it to the American and European gamer as they think we want it.

Yeah, that chart makes sense, just... Why even go through all that.

Just copy the game and translate.

The korean version of the game obviously worked well, why even mess with it in the slightest...

Gamers are Gamers... We don't need sugar coated games tailored to our country.

i dont understand this silence. They can jsut say, we are looking into, we have no plans about it, or we are still thinking on weather we should do it or not. Why the silence ? If they would just make some strawpool or open donation box to fund the project i am all up. Currently using one of those chinese or w/e gold selling bot and it does the job decently, but i know buddyteam can do it x10 times better.

The "mainstream" China BnS-bot [Link removed] for NA/EU got a massive banwave just 18hrs ago with plenty of subscribers doing chargebacks on the bot-seller [Codenamed Mr M].

It wasnt a "massive banwave" it was a banwave only on people that were exploiting a cooldown bug on summoners which ended with NcSoft banning everyone that was botting pvp no matter what class. Leveling and pve were fine.

Lol I literally logged in to buy the bot. It's really weird that you guys haven't released a bot for this game. It's like a gold farmer's heaven! Anyway looking forward to it.

      Gold price has dropped to:
      0.20$/G EU
      0.22$/G NA

Don't think it's worth botting unless you use the *bleep* stuff.

I think they are working on one, normally someone would have already said "not at this time". Apoc's comments seem to hint towards this as well IMO.
