Guys.... it's not yesterdays patch or today's new HB or anything like that You were all detected and set up for bans in the days or even weeks previous. The bans all went out today at 8pm EST. Doesn't mean everyone was *detected* today. Anyhow I can't understand how anyone can be surprised at this... THEY ARE LITERALLY DOING THIS EVERY 6 MONTHS LIKE CLOCKWORK. it will continue. Don't bot on main accounts.
Ban wave. Hit a bot account and hit my main account which I dont bot with but I take the ban by IPs probably. Same date as everybody.
I haven't played/botted for a week and i got hit too, when i did bot it was just for combat rotations, so i doubt anyone has any idea when the detection even happened and they started collecting accounts for a ban wave. Game was getting stale anyway, Nost 2.0 could be fun tho.
Doubtful. They've likely been collecting this for weeks. At this point, running HB on anything but a throw-away account is pointless. The interesting thing is, this wave is 10 days before the last one was up. I have a feeling that is no coincidence. I'm kind of glad in a way. I had too many characters on the go and trying to keep all of their emissary quests ticking over each day started feeling like a job. I'll give HB a rest on main account. All I want is for routines to be able to fly under the radar. But it seems like Blizz has found a pretty rock solid way of detection. Good luck to those who didn't get hit.
I started playing 2 weeks ago and I'm banned for 6 months. It was something recent. There has been a lot of patches and anyone of them bossman could have easily overlooked something.
Got hit on my main. I only used it for questing toons from 100-110. Just finished my last one couple weeks ago and uninstalled the bot....had a gut feeling I was flagged but wasn't going to admit it. I shoulda transferred everyone while I had that gut feeling. We all knew risks though. Just seems HB Team is constantly detected now.
Can we appeal first time ban? Banned as well until 05/2017. Last time I used bot was last week, so I guess they have been watching us for a while. Is there any way to appeal if its your first time being banned?
6 Month suspensions 2/2 Combat and fishing bot only while watching/controlling the character. This includes an account that I haven't logged into since the new patch. So it wasn't this patch specifically.
