This wont work, period. They know which mobs I was killing as it changed only a few times as I leveled up (change in profiles durr). The guy on the phone did ask me if I shared the account and my immediate answer was "Heck no!". Looking back on it now maybe I should of said I was sharing it with my brothers and we were power leveling my character by killing mobs and not questing..
Is this not what said? Also, sharing accnts is against their ToA so it's prolly good that you said no.
i would recall them and say that ive informed myself and this "banned for killing too many mobs" is a bs reason for getting a ban and so on . . .
The story I think I'm going to go with is my son was trying to farm Sentry Cloak http://www.wowhead.com/item=2059 for a twink he was planning. he gives me whatever in the mail and I get him free gear enchants/gems/upgrades since he doesnt know any better. theres a gnoll camp in wetlands that instantly respawns, so fast that you can kill faster than you can loot. got a bunch of blues already, but i dont rmember seeing any sentry cloaks in the mail. also it actually is played by a younger person, not my son, by close, sometimes from another IP, but i'll just say that hes on his laptop using the wireless node from the park across the street.
I got one of these a couple days ago. Damn thing. I normally get the economy manipulation one and send them an email requesting them to lift it and they do. But with this one ill take it on the chin because i wa botting and i figure 3 days is better than an outright ban lol. they have put my account through about 7 economy manipulation bans so far and none of them stick. Btw if they do lift your bans they actually give you back the game time.
Guessing you aren't a skinner? I always use skinning when leveling because leatherworking takes a ridiculous amount of leather to level and if someone blizzard asshat wants to give me the " you killed a ridiculous amount of mobs excuse" I can fire back with "maybe you should lower the mat requirement for leatherworking". So take up skinning and choose profiles that kill mobs you can skin. I just had to farm up 400 knothide leathers and that barely got me to the borean leather skill :/ Just something to think about Morga
Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs (""Hacks"") I lol at that. so there are some cheats they authorize??
i got banned for "Hacks" yesturday while leveling my dk with HB, anyone had any success unbanning their account?
" The ban was NOT reversed, the account was on its final warning from being hacked and gold spamming the first time and now banned due to a 72 Hour suspension for botting." Phone them up again and go ballistic down the phone at them, say how dare they place an acount which got hacked on a final warning.
I wasn't proposing that as an excuse. That's exactly what I was doing. I was farming wool because it sells for about 25g/stack on my server. Also, don't know if you were still refering to me, but account sharing with a direct blood relative (like a son/daughter) is allowed IIRC.
anyone know the number to blizzard customer service support? i just got 2 of accounts perm banned i want to try and call them
/cry another ban here for me.. i was getting greedy and botting on my main acct. just needed to get my hunter and mage from 70-80 and id have all 10 80's. no AHing, no afk, no pst's i got disconnected and couldn't login, then saw the paypal stoppage email before theirs, and emailed them very angry mail before i even received my ban email which was for Unauthorized Cheat Programs (""Hacks"") i wonder how they distinguish between unauthorized cheat programs, and unauthorized third party software. surely if they had some hard evidence we would all be getting bans for the same reason.
I guess blizzard just bans randomly. i mean seriously sometimes i bot 3 days without any break, put like 1000 auctions in the ah and nobody cares. I have a level 1 character with 240.000 created auctions =)) So i think it is just luck. If they would really take a closer look on poeple creating hundreds of auctions every day and think a bit about it they'd see that this can never be a "normal" player. So perhaps its just people reporting you or a gm that thinks "ah well i'm bored...ah lets spectate this guy here...mh aha....moves a bit strange....oh running same circle every x minutes..seems to be a bot"....i cannot explain it to me in any other way.
have to disagree with * closer look on poeple creating hundreds of auctions every day and think a bit about it they'd see that this can never be a "normal" player* Because besides botting I own my realms market by owning my realms economy completely, I decide wether or not prices change and how high. 10 characters in total all level 10 chars controlling it, delete each week remake and grind a new one and do again. Auctions per day average 800-2000 sometimes even more depending on realms needs. And this was done manually, Yes its doable but takes time and once learned it takes less and less time. Just hit the 3 mill on gold so think I should be gahtering just for own use now.
Okay perhaps i have to explain a bit more in detail what i ment with saying that. Nobody(!) Farms thousands of mats every day by hands and puts this new mats on ah every day. I know what you are talking about and in some kind i am doing the same..buy cheap..sell expensive...and it is also possible that i have a few hundred auctions in the ah the same time. But in fact i am 100% sure blizz would be able to see if someone creates hundreds of auctions every day from bought items that are sold again for a higher price..or if someone is 20 hours only every day in sholazar and then 1 hour in the ah creating hundreds of auctions. I am sure at a point every gm would ask hiself "how does he get hundreds of stacks of X every day...can't be normal"...don't you think so?
