Don't be evil, Raaz . It can be taken as a sarcastic sentence,but it wasn't meant to. After all, we are all benefiting from the knowledge coming from those bans, while not doing the expenditure.

 

TOOK ME 3 days to bot to 110 and now ilvl 850 again, even botted bgs, honorlevel 48. im back. Bought acc 35eur + a new vpn. easymode, now only cr usage.

 

I purchased a new Battlechest + Legion from blizzard themselves, started a new account, here are my observations.

I used HB to level from 100-110 after playing by hand for about a day. This was done on a Guardian druid, the leveling process took about 12 hours or so. During this time I made sure to remote in, and chat with guildies, post questions to chat, etc. (my normal routine). I have not received a ban or suspension yet. I'll let you know if I do. I do not plan on using HB for anything else at the moment. I've completely removed it from my PC and am going to manually do the rest of the gearing/WQ grind manually.

 

Yes, I did take the sentence sarcastically. Honestly I think the ones in the ban section for today are the ones who ran without tripwire and the older version of HB before the updated version came out.

 

16 hours ago created an account and run the bot farm fjarnskaggl. And 5 min ago I received a permanent ban

 

Account Suspended for 6 month's due to supposed use of third party automation process. This happened at the banwave 10/11-2016 (European).

Account was mainly just running Raid Bot with Singular Combat Routine.
However, i suspect the bot was caught while running Leveling from 100-110 on a newly created Monk.

For some weird reason, i just felt it coming this time around.. This is my first ban in an else quite extensive botting period - have been botting on a regular basis since Cataclysm.

 

I have a theory about this. I think after a major banwave there is an influx of new accounts compared to the norm.

So there automated security hightens triggering perm bans(abuse of economy - automated bans). Established account pre-banwave arent affected by those heightened security meseures because well there not new flagged during heighten period.


Just my opinion because i have been hit on banwave and also shortly after(new accounts) without ever attaching the bot to any wow instance post banwave.

its easy to blizzard find botter, just check if the machine is capable to run at 64bit, and you are running at 32bit manually

also its possible to when you click the 32bit client, it activate the "monitor mode"

 

i think the key is to move the honorbuddy to 64bit.

 

Been searching in some of the forum sections and was wondering if anyone has been banned after the ban wave for only using CR's? like no botted leveling using it for WQ or anything else, just CR's

 

What is the difference that you are using ??? You do not realize that they have banyat by injection, the bot! I then received a wave of bans on 2 account. 1 used quests, just 2 used entrance to the bot.

 

would love to level new alt with bot. I havent got banned and botted a bit with my main acc. Leveled few alts, did like 2-3 runs of suramar herbing in week. (1 run 1-4hours). 90% time when I bot im still at the computer, few times left it alone to herb when i went to sleep.

 

Well all bots were hit in the banwave , also the x64 bots.

 

so its clear to say that any new account is banned in 1\2 weeks...

 

bullshit nothing is clear... but it looks like if you don't go straight farming you receive no instant ban
I think they specialised on detecting farmers gathering herbs atm...
but yea we will see if "casual" botters receive bans after a week or two

 

I just got banned on 2 accounts on different computers on with different IP adresses 3 days old accounts...

 

and what did you do? legion farming? legion leveling?
