Did you not read the ban statement from the staff?
This was the first time the actual software was detected by Blizzard.

 

Because banning several people a day is hardly scary, intimidating or news worthy. On the other hand banning a truckload of people all at the same time (ish) with a nice shiny blue post about it on their forums is a great way to get a huge amount of free publicity.

 

Yeah like I said before though doesn't make me no difference, because since I haven't played in a while I was going to cancel my subscription with them today anyways

 

I got hit today as well.
I came home and tried to play, my suprise? account has been suspended....Checked my e-mail, 6 months?
And now??

Guess I'm done with HB then. Shame I paid $40 for it 5 months ago but at least I got 5 100's out of it lol. Cheaper than $60 per 90 boost! I'll check back. I really hate to risk a permanent deletion of my account.


Not to troll, but we all knew the risk and we accepted it. Yea botting should totally be allowed to some degree, but it is a slipper slope (does anyone remember Diablo I after the "trainers" took over?) to ruining the game. It's like smoking pot, it's not for everyone and we all know it's illegal, but millions of people still do it. We can't really bitch too much for getting caught. We knew what we were doing was against the ToA... so we got busted, take your slap on the wrist and find something else to do for 6 months.
