[PAID] BGFarmer - An Advanced Battleground Bot Base

Any way to make it just follow group around in ashran? mine keeps going other places<.<

 

just came back to the game after a long break... turned on honorbuddy and BGFarmer and it starts up fine and does nothing.

 

Uhh it'll not move on until you're out of combat (unless you're a healer and there's no friendly players around).

Which window did you click in for this error to come up? Never seen this one happen before.. The error message doesn't relate directly to the components in the GUI either so I'm a little confused as to how that errors occurring. Does it happen every time ?

BG specific -> Ashran -> loads of options under there to disable various behaviours. Disabling stuff will make it default to just following the team.

Can you post a full, unedited log file please?

Yeah I've started adding Apexis Marks event, and I need to remove some of the group stuff that's no longer necessary.

Have you got a log file where your toon got stuck in the cave? Suspect it could be a meshing issue.

 

Problems Can someone help.

the bot runs for a little bit then it gets a error and kicks me out of the game.

Have you got any more log files from where this has happened? It looks like you've just disconnected from the game looking at that file. There wasn't any issues...

The toon as busy fighting away then suddenly you weren't in game any more which suggests a disconnect.

Hey Millz. This botbase is quite awesome! I have been getting amazing scores with this bot combined with Vitalics CR for rogues. Would it be possible for me to receive your chat config? The best I've seen so far is 14-1 though I have seen many 7-0 or similar. Waiting to hear from you

Chat options -> That's something you need to setup yourself so that it's different to everyone elses. Can't have all BGFarmer bots saying the same thing when the BG starts. Would be pretty obvious if 3 bots in your AV group all said "Hey Everybody!".

So as an example of how to set it up...

- Replacements Tab;
- Find: Lumber Mill
- Replace: LM|lm

- Find: Blacksmith
- Replace: bs|BS|Bs

..and go through adding all of the various bases with what you'd call them. Separating options using a | character makes the bot pick a random option from the list.

- Config Tab;
- Greeting; Hey|hey|hello|hi|sup|Sup

- Call incoming: inc %base%|inc %enemies% %base% -> This will make the bot say something like "inc Lumber Mill" (or if chat replacements are setup like above)... "inc LM". Using %enemies% shows how many people it thinks are coming, so "inc 5 lm".

Finished adding Apexis Marks event to BGFarmer (and handling getting out of the cave).

sorry for asking, but seeing as arena is not allowed anymore. and BG is under discussion. If its decided that BG no longer will be allowed then what happens to this ? I dont want to pay for something that works for a week and no more.

 

I've heard nothing. It would be crazy for Bossland to shut down random BGs. I can't see it happening.

 

Quick update on the new 6.2 Ashran event. The event is coded in my copy of BGFarmer, but the area isn't meshed yet, so the bot can't handle anything inside the cave. There's an open ticket with the dev team to mesh the area (HB-2535: New area in Ashran is missing meshes). Once that's done I'll re-test the changes and push a new version.

 

I just came back from a long break. Fresh bot ... fresh buddy store downloads and I push start on BGfarmer with gladior suite for priest and the bot does nothing. no errors.. just does nothing

 

Hey guys, very nice botbase, I just have one question though. Has anyone been able to complete ashran events?

EDIT: Carry on, shit works perfectly.

 

There's so many errors in that log file, if I were you, I'd just download a fresh copy of Honorbuddy and start again. Don't copy any of the old settings files over.

@Millz ... sorry about bothering you. I had an old bot folder on an storage drive and somehow the new bot download was pulling everything out of that folder. I deleted everything and it is working like a champ. My apologies for the noobness.

When is this going to have the Mine Event? it been out for a quite some time now..

Also why does this thing constantly try to attack the wolf rider pack that runs around by itself.. looks so stupid.

 

Event still isn't available because of the above.

Wolf rider pack -> It fights back against any NPCs that attack.
