No DemonBuddy CANNOT be used in the meantime while this is happening, as you read the injunction prevents us from UPDATING the bot, and there was a patch last night, so we CANNOT update the bot to work on the latest version of Diablo.

I'm pretty sure he's only doubling the amount of sessions for those that have already bought them, but the discount will be extended due to the interim.

Oh shit. I was there when glider had an injunction filed against them...... then people waited around for 2 years to see if they could ever bot again .. and they couldn't.

Good luck with everything guys, although I personally do not see this having a positive outcome..

Seems like a pretty ironic time for "this" to happen after the failure to meet your own quoted working times repeatedly.

      Just wanted to remember:

      Glider - US Court
      DB - German fucking Court

one does not simply fucks up with the german court...especially if youre blizzard (that already got threatened by our court here for their fucking servers and lags :D)

Totally wrong. In the Russia or any offshore country Blizz can to buy the court.

I'm no traitor, I've been a loyal customer for several years. I'm not going anywhere. If they get DB back up and running, cool - I'll be here. If they don't get it going.. well that sucks, but I'll still be here. Just saying that I've seen these injunctions happen before, and in the past they have all ruled in Blizzards favor.

edit: of course, they Blizzard vs MDY case was tried in the US, so different law apply, obviously.

      I quote from wikipedia

Lets hope German courts are faster :). But forget about "a few days" etc.

No wonder so many people were having problems with this bot... half the community can't figure out 1*2 or 3*2 let alone setup the bot...

Considering that the lawsuit for honorbuddy with wow is still ongoing... the chances of that are slim to none.

Injunction says they cannot support the program, so opening up the servers would be supporting it and against the injunction. We just have to wait a week or so for the hearing and we will probably get the servers back, but no new bots sold until the full case is heard I think.

If push comes to shove you could still agree to stop it and add sidefeatures, that so happen to also work in d3. Or you make a case with movement impaired people that want to enjoy the story.

How could it possibly be illegal to sell your own software? This is utterly ridiculous.
Does anyone know what they are basing this lawsuit on?
If I'm going to demand a refund from anyone it will be Blizzard.
