If they do that they will have to pay a fine of up to 250.000? and may also end up loosing the injunction in a week because they did so. They're trying to run a serious business here which means they will have to obey the laws the company is registered under (german).

if so, can't you move the company/servers to some other country with other laws that involves this issue?

edit: that's what thepiratebay has done anyhow :(

anyway I wish you best of luck!

If you guys lose and Demonbuddy is no longer supported, a "disgruntled, yet anonymous, employee" should leak the source. Thousands of clones would follow and carry on the legacy.

As far as I know, Blizzard has never lost a case against a bot programmer. If the buddy team does lose this case, which there is a definite possibility that they may, this will be very bad for their case for honorbuddy as well. If anything, Blizzard can drag this case out for weeks/years with this injunction that was already granted to them.

It's not worth the buddy team going to jail over this. Knowing how the court system works, I wouldn't expect to see this bot working again for a very, very long time.

Bankrupt Greece supports you till the end. Let us know if/when you need donations for legal fees. I wouldn't mind parting with some botted euros to support you guys. Don't even need a DB license, AEEEEEERA!! (ask Tony what it means).

that's because not many bot programmers have the balls to take blizzard to court.

does it matter who is taking who to court? either way they have balls...

most bot coders etc would be LIKE OH NO GETTING SUED

(run away. close down community) runs away with the money

but at least if they lose.. they will refund everyone... and tbh even if they did lose they can keep my money I've had my fun!

but in my opinion they wont lose...

Sad news. I'm gonna wait all the time needed for you to get out of this shit. Wishing all the best & luck for you.

Even if things goes wrong for DB i'll not ask any money refund to continue to support your team for your next projetcs.

      Keep going guys.

This only shows how desperate Blizzard is. Bot is undetected and they have no way of detecting it so they are sueing.

Anyway i am fairly new to this community but i am sticking with it. Full 110% support from me!

      Show them hell hb team!
