I'm just trolling, pay no attention to my useless post On the topic of the new Click-To-Report changes... fuck 'em. We've been through a lot harder times that this. Majority of botters do solo tasks with the bot (GB2). Most of you who actually use the forums should know better than AFKing your bots in BGs and such anyways. It's not going to be that big of a deal. Blah blah, lots of abusive WoW users will report for no reason. Blah blah, it's "probably" the #1 reason of bans. Blah blah, 18 April, The Day Botters Didn't Give a Shit. Blizzard just doesn't feel like reading all the tickets is the real answer. That's all for now folks, Panda.
Why so much fuss about it, its the same as before you just don't see the wait time. Who knows how much time will it take for a gm to actually look at the report an investigate it, they wont be like sitting 24/7 and just waiting for a report to ban someone they need to accumulate several reports from x amount of ppl to start investigating a certain char for sure. And i already see this being abused by random trolls as well as some botters just for the sake of it and angry 10 year old's for loosing an item in some dungeon/raid. It might work if they like double the gm staff but i don't see how this could be an end of botting, maybe its just a function to stop the qq at official forums about so much botters but like i said who knows if this will work in reality like intended.
Yes i know that was announced several weeks ago, just saying there is no way that if the regular ticket takes like 3-4 days to get answered, that the new system will be faster, hell it might increase the wait time as there will even more work to do.
Yeah right. People may not bot instances or bgs as much depending on the actual reaction from Blizz staff from this, but botting will continue until the game is no more. GB, AA2, AB, etc all will still be fine, as will QB once the quest turn in bug is fixed. There is so much to do in the game that doesn't require you to be around other players. Comments like yours are funny to read though.
The way I phrased that was bad, I guess, because my intentions were to agree with what you were saying, but add that point.
Blizz just implemented the feature so that users can't see the respond time to a ticket. Because a lot of posts in the official blizz forums is about how long you have to wait for an answer. Just my 2 cents
c'mon. let's say you got suspended/banned because of reports. what will you do? appeal. worked before, works then. blizz is going to have tons of reports and appeals to handle. how long will they keep it up? i won't panic because of it. every douchebag who is pissed of another player will now report for cheating. this system will not work very long.
i know im new to things but i have to put my 2 cents in anyways... i dont think this is going to change much. Now its faster to report but like every other person has said "they will get a metric ton of these reports the first day" no way it sticks around... Bot smart... keep an eye out and prosper my buddies!!!
Heh ye i figured that , just wanted to confirm it by posting, well i think they just wanted to calm regular players with the feature and it even won't effect us at all
Excuse me, but how can you bagatellize the fact that the reporting system toward bots have been made simplified? The fact that you also state that "really there shouldn't be anything to worry about." The fact here is that the developement of HB need to be more ahead of the changes Blizzard made to "catch us" Here is a humble opinion: The focus further MUST Focus on 3 main features of HB. 1. Movement / meshing where HB f.ex detects my damn druid flying back and forth in deepholm untill HBRelog close wow after 80 minutes, or serious movement issues where the toon run up and down the towers in AV like a retard, or run around wolfes like crazy while mounted not dismounting because wolfes are blacklisted. Where 8 toons all go for the first base in AV / The battle for gilneas caputing the first base. Where toons stop outside every gate in SoTa before they jiggle their butt through the gate, and still get stuck on the beach focusing on killing the other faction before battlevehicles. The list continues. 2. Continuous developement of singular. A hurl through the classes every 6 months is not enough, Singular need to be updated the whole time and individually for grind/quest, BG, arena, raid and dungeons. Include the CC devs and make a positive inviroment for them to spend their free time to develope ONE! frikin CC for all classes instead of having dead CC projects because the CC devs quit updating their code. 3. Realise that Blizzard / legal players hate bots, and understand that to be as safe as possible the developement og HB need to be one steb ahead to minimalize the risk of getting banned. It really pisses me off that lame ass comments like "boting is never safe" or "bot safely" is something that is beeing abused by the devs instead of acknowledge the fact that HB need to have a healthy developement paralell with blizzards measures towards boting. I know that you guys does a tremendus job with the bot, but don't bagatalize the fact that this will have consequences, and the outcome will be how the developement of HB will turn out in the near future.
why yes... yes it did... ill let you know if i get banned right off the bat as i use Kick's lvling guide... (working on a lvl 33 rogue)
Also, most of the devs get paid to fix stuff. Me and many others, as users which paid for several lifetimes spend countless hours giving feedback on CC's, profiles and whatnot to improve HB. So to be stright forward, get the shit togheter. Fix serious bugs and give PROPER feedback to us when a bug is reported 100's of times. All we want is to know wtf is going on when we see our skinning toon is killing a mob, run away, run back skin and keep on killing on ALL mobs, and WHY it is not fixed. This is just an example, and I can sit here all day typing similar issues. Offtopic here, but im still pissed off.
ya it is live for us people, I'm not gona bot for a day because of it. Also Kayes I agree what you are talking about.
