[Bot] PoolFishingBuddy - BetaTest

I am running it now. Seems you got the Nav issues worked out. One thing i did notice is that it isn't taking advantage of the fact that I have water walking. It still tries to fish from land. Nice job either way, one question. Why did you remove the use of lures? Not that it really matters just curious.

 

Catch rate is 100% from pools regardless of skill. I assume it was removed because it's a waste of a lure.

 

Does it works in old Azeroth? Everytime i get a Error MSG

Every now and then I get "No valid points returned by RayCast, blacklisting for 2 minutes" which breaks the bot.

so it looks like the movement behaviour breaks with that error.

 

What Croga just said! Working flawlessly until "No valid points returned by RayCast, blacklisting for 2 minutes" after that the bot needds a restart. Always happens after 5-15mins

 

I had some issues with dismount on water so I decided to use waterwalking just to "support" the old behavior for now. This will change with one of the next builds. The use of lures isn't removed at all, it's just not visible Like rawillkill said, lures aren't needed for poolfishing atm.

I was only getting this on the Uldum coast profile. When I switched to Uldum inland it simply stopped casting at all.
I was running 3 bots from the same folder so the logs aren't useful at all. I'll try again tomorrow and see if I can get some useful logs for you.

 

I already fixed it Will upload it within the next hours because I need to test the new loot tracking first.

Does it train up fishing? Is that sensitive to the profile? Also anyway to make it grab herbs/ors on its way?

 

It trains if you check "Auto. Training" in settings without any additional settings (needs testing). Herb/Mining isn't supported..

- pfb will disable "auto loot" to detect loot now! (working on a way to detect user settings to reset them on stop)

 

Is it only me that has issue's with the bot spamming Fishing and can never get a pool and then blacklists the pool cause it has used all it's attempt's at casting even doe he hit the pool a few times??

There is also issue's with my alt not dismounting while in Swift flight form and hover's over shallow water and just stays there till i wow DC.

ill post a short log but there is nothing that stand's out what could be the problem.

Whilst running the MrPinchy profile in outland, the bot won't remount after fishing. It just stands there "looking for pools". If I manually remount it, it goes on it's merry way.

After fishing a pool dry, the debug log shows only "CreateLookForPoolBehaviour". After mounting it shows "CreatePathBehaviour".
If there's another pool in sight, it will correctly "CreateMoveToPoolBehaviour" though. Mounting and flying to the nearby pool like it should.

 

Yes, same here - dismounts, fishes all from pool and stand there ... "looking for pools" ...
after remount manually it fly again.

 

Ok, figured it out - need to uncheck "use random mount" and "find mount automatically" also the the mount name need to be written in the mount box.

 

I'm going to check that. I've no idea what's wrog for you atm.

Thank you for figuring out. The bot is going change this Levelbot settings on start automatically with the next release.

 

@wilsonj17: I tested the profile with Hawkers Druid CC but I can't reproduce your issues with dismount and recast.

I'll increase the time between casting and checking if the bobber is in pool. Maybe there's some prob with your latency..

- increased timer between cast fishing and checking if bobber is in the hole
- mount settings of HB are changed on start to fit with PFB for the running instance

 

Once I get home, Ill test out the training settings for your bot in Northerend
