Known Issue: If you use a pet that changes its type midfight (e.g. Puddle Terror changes through Nature's Ward from aquatic to elemental) then the log will state that the pet is unknown. This happens, because the bot is now trying to find the tactic inside the list of elemental pets, which logically fails. I have already proposed a fix in the SVN and it should be solved with the next build. This went unnoticed before, because those skills were rarely used in the more simple pet tactics. If you have a pet with this issue, you now know why and that it will be resolved shortly.
Love the bot. Found a problem, Im alliance and using the Hinterlands profile to lvl pet I get to Hri'watha research station and attack guards never end spawn near a pet to battle and bot just stays there fighting respawn guards over and over. Also, question: Is bot going to be able to que for and do pvp pet battles auto for us? thanks
I don't know about Prostak's plans regarding PvP, but I would really love to implement that. He is already going to implement boss-based team battle tactics, so why not for PvP . The tactics might get pretty long, but I would totally be into designing them. And implementing the queue and accept functionality for PvP is basically a matter of two Lua calls.
Is there any way I can blacklist Elekk Plushie beginning to piss me off whatever I do it seems to bring it in and use it on any mode (I am using Ringerx2 atm) it will use Elekk and pet will die in a fight then when it heals pets it puts it straight back in again repeat rinse so annoying id release the pet if I could lol, Also to capture blues (rares) i haven't got I got to enable capture rares as Capture not owned setting to rare will not try and capture a pet at all which aint to much of a biggy but the Elekk Plushie is beginning to fuck me off only leveled it for the damn achi lol! Well obvious solution as I didn't really explore out of frustration as im doing like 5 things at once the smorning set 7/8 fav pets and told it to use them only as ringers lol but the bot did seem to favour the damn Elekk Plushie alot
Blacklisting is in the works afaik. What you could always do however, is to cage the damn plushie as long as you run the bot.
hello the bot wont load next level area's i loaded all spots but its not switching to a new spot when the pet lvl gets higher... am i doing something wrong?
I'd love to be able to use this in Frostfire. Is there a way to convert an already popular Frostfire ridge pet grind profile to work with Presto Pets? I attempted to load it and it said: [PetD] CalcZone: lowest=23, diff=20, need profile level 25 [Pets] Current Profile level is 0, loading profile for level 25 [PetD] Profile not set, finding one for the continent I typically use Pokebuddy and Battlepet swapper and they work well minus the frame drops, but if I'd like to try Presto Pets out.
Right now I feel as if the whole profile section of PP might need some work. I created my first own profile yesterday and after a few fights he chose to load his own profile for that zone. I wish I could tell you more, but I am trying to restrict myself to tactics now and help out in other parts later after I am done with the first pass. But if you post a link to said Frostfire profile, I will gladly take a look at it. Maybe I can find out why it does not work.

Just take one of his default profiles and change the hotspots to the ones in the profiles you want. Rename and save and load. Should work fine as thats What I have been doing.

Yeah, I attempted that method, it didn't work for me, however I'm in no rush. I'm just working on leveling pets and getting the garrison monument at the same time lol. Thanks in advance! edit: HBfanboy, are you willing to share that profile (if you have one converted for Frostfire)?
I didn't convert one for Frostfire specifically I converted a few for other places. I actually preferred doing it somewhere with less people. Since with pet battling you will earn the same amount of character experience as appropriate to the pets you battle (with a win). I always loved VoTFW for doing Ringerx2 and its very depopulated atm. Let me see if I can help you out with a profile though once my garrisonbutler is done running. edit: try this conversion of the horde profile. if it doesnt work please tell me what happens. I love pet battles, but 2000 seems like so many. Sadly the garrison battles don't count. I do the daily with all my characters each day And there are quite a few of them...
